For a lot of people it was the Central Park 5 nonsense, for others, the whole Birther schtick. Personally, I've never liked him, and frankly the more I learn about him the more contemptible he appears. No one is 100% bad, but IMHO Trump comes as close as anyone I know of.

For me it was him watching the black lives matter protester get beaten up in front of him and called racial slurs (hate crimes), show no concern whatsoever, and the following day approve of it "maybe he should have gotten roughed up". Watching the DNC light up the White House in rainbow colors was equally offensive.
