What religion to follow?

I'd probably be better off throwing in with Buddhism and not even burn any more brain cells trying to sort out religion. The more questions I ask, the more I have and the struggle is real.

Buddhist Stoicism- Peace with an Attitude.

People should follow a religion that they believe is true, that claims to offer an immediate connection to a sacred Transcendent, and that causes no harm to individuals and society. Preferably, the religion would "fit like a glove", and answer most of the seeker's needs and spiritual questions. And, hopefully, the religion would not aggressively seek converts, but at the same time would welcome friendly inquiries.

Lambs get slaughtered....be careful.

Lamb is tasty, though :D (The best roast lamb I ever had was at this little hole-in-the-wall place in Atlanta, run by a couple of Somalian guys. MAN that was some good stuff.)

But yeah, religious lambs- lots of traps and pitfalls, and unfortunately they differ depending on who you talk to :D

Only had lamb twice and wasn't impressed. Might be a function of who was cooking it, or might be the fact that I live in Texas where brisket is king, so I will withhold judgement.

I was born in Austin- does that count? Lamb is definitely not for everyone, or goat for that matter (but well-cooked goat is wicked good), but I'll gladly take a decent brisket any day of the week.
