What did our dear rabbi Jesus say that shocked the world with unprecedented knowledge

@David J and @Rival,

I don't have an argument, but I do have a question? Which of you is going to break the news to the Moslems? I think they're under the impression that Jesus was important enough get mentioned in the Qur'an and that Allah kind of likes him.

Thanks Terry.

I think Jesus is a household name by now.

But my initial question still holds.

Still, it would help if you let us know what you had in mind, otherwise, how are we supposed to know? Do you mean where He said "I am the way the truth and the life" or something along the lines of "If I am lifted up I will draw all men unto me"? Or his teachings about turning the other cheek or loving your enemies? "Judge not lest you be judged?" From what direction are you trying to steer the conversation? I'm sure you have something in mind. I think.

There were many others, now conveniently
"forgotten".

"Eat not, lest thou be eaten"
"Go not, lest thou be gone."
"Drink not, lest thou be drunk"

and more paradoxically

"Think not, lest thou be thunk"

Ok.

What Did Jesus say that was scientifically, or intellectually astounding for the time period?
