Responsibility for sins and heavens crowns

So the question for Christians is, if you were not going to heaven, if you were just going to die like Atheists believe: would you still do the right thing? Is it not better to do the right things because you want to do it then to do it in order to get to heaven?

Good point. Actually "follow thy heart" should be an imperative for Christians too.
I do believe most Atheists are good people.:)

I keep God's commandments because I am afraid of retribution from God. I live in fear. Proverbs 3:12. "For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth". I realized and understood over twenty years ago that if I did something I shouldn't, God will get me good. I also found out that if there was some sort of injustice against me, then God will give it back many times over. God answers all of my prayers now, sometimes before I ask. I am holy.

I don’t “do things in order to get into heaven.” I live life as a response to what I believe is God’s inexhaustible love for all creation.
