What song are you in the mood for right now?

Salvador

RF's Swedenborgian
I'm in the druken mood for heart wrenching music that I can play along with my harmonica indulging myself in self pity. I'm now playing along with Take the Long Way Home, composed by Roger Hodgson from Supertramp.

"So I think I'm a Romeo, playing a part in a picture-show
I take the long way home, take the long way home
Cos I'm the joke of the neighborhood, why should I care if I'm feeling good
Take the long way home, take the long way home
There are times that I feel I'm part of the scenery, all the greenery causes me no joy.
Then my wife seems to think I'm part of the furniture, oh it's peculiar, she used to be so nice.

Lonely days turn to lonely nights, I take a trip to the city lights
And take the long way home, take the long way home
I never see what she wants to see, forever playing to the gallery
I take the long way home, take the long way home
When she's up on the stage she's so unbelievable, unforgettable, how they adore her.
But then my wife seems to think I'm losing my sanity, oh calamity, well is there no way out?

(Ooh, take the long way home)
(Take it, take it, take it home)

Does it feel that my life's become a catastrophe, oh it has to be for me to be without joy.
When I look through the years and see what I could have been, oh what might have been if I'd had more time
So when the day comes to settle down, who's to blame if I'm not around?
I took the long way home, I took the long way home, I took the long way home.
I took the long way home, I took the long way home (For luck), I took the long way home
I took the long way home, I took the long way home

Long way home, long way home, long way home "

Right now, as in this second, I guess I want something ethereal and folklore-y. Perhaps because I’m planning a Tolkien marathon.
