Derpy Donny Dollhands claims to have won award that doesn't exist

"Some are questioning a statement made by President Donald Trump during a rally on Thursday where he claimed he was named Michigan's Man of the Year. The award, however, doesn't appear to exist."

Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed he was 'Michigan's Man of the Year.' That's not a real award

If you listen closely, you'll hear the Trumpettes scrabbling to establish the award, and give it to Trump retroactively

OMG that's funny.

"I used to complain and you know I just –– I'd go [to Michigan] and I'd say, 'They're stealing your car business,'" Trump said. "I go for years. In fact, five or six years before I even thought about running, for whatever reason they named me man of the year in Michigan. I said, how come? I didn't even understand it myself, but I was named man of the year. I wasn't even political. That was years before I did this, but I was always complaining that our car business is being stolen."

So, he got a statuette of Lincoln and a framed copy of the Gettysburg Address, and somehow, that made him think he was being named Michigan Man of the Year. I can't imagine how he could have made that leap.

The article didn't mention whether they attempted to contact the town of Michigan, North Dakota and whether they have any "Man of the Year" award.

Trump lied? Who woulda thought!

BTW, two of his former staff members, Scaramucci and Amorosa, say that Trump is quite severely deteriorating mentally and that the Republicans had better take notice and consider the 25th Amendment-- soon.

Invoking the 25th Amendment may not be necessary. If Trump is gradually getting senile like how Reagan became senile, the POTUS should just now withdrawal his bid for a second Presidential term.

I have very strong doubts that he would be willing to do that as he likely would see that as being a defeat.

BTW, Scaramucci says that the Republicans should consider removing him or they might as well just hand the presidency and many other positions right over to the Democrats as there could be a "housecleaning". For example, former National Review chief-editor and former Republican George Will is telling people to vote for anyone except Republicans, including at the state level, as he feels the whole gang of them need to be thrown out for abandoning basic Republican principles.

The POTUS can take a thorough psychological medical evaluation, and then go from there.

As long as he doesn't pick the psychologist. ;)

Perhaps, a panel of high ranking doctors from the American Psychological Association could administrate the appropriate tests and review the test results, then make a consensus determination of Donald Trump's mental state of health.

I worry that stuff like this is a distraction from his human rights abuses, obstruction of justice, fraud and corruption, etc.

I think the focus should stay on those more critical issues until they're addressed... then deal with all the other ways he's a scumbag.

A thorough evaluation would be good, not just a “point to the giraffe” type thing.

And to be non-partisan about this, all Presidential candidates from both parties should do this.

There are conservative answers to today's problems such as climate change but as long as we have the current president and Moscow Mitch, none can be considered.

WWMRD?
Actually if one does a little deeper investigation into this claim they will find that Trump was actually awarded "The Man of the Decade", but it was only after meddling and Kompromat from Russian sources that forced the mayor to award it to him out of fear of having his zoophilia obsession exposed.

The conservative answer used to be "cap and trade," but lately, it seems like the conservative answer is just "ignore the problem."

I'd agree with that if there were real medical issues involving Trumps thought process that would interfere with his capability to run a presidential office.

Of course thats what the vice president is for. Backup.

This is true. There is a very good argument that many of Trump's more egregious antics are purely to serve as a distraction from his other stuff. But on the other hand, I do enjoy upsetting the Trumpettes by triggering their cognitive dissonance, as they desperately tie themselves in knots trying to defend the indefensible. Mea culpa. It's not as though pointing out his human rights abuses is going to slow them down any, since the average Trumpette doesn't (or obtusely refuses to) think they are human rights abuses.

Even as a boy Trump was a bully who flipped out when he didn't win. That's why they sent him away to school instead of putting him in a good Day School near home,

He dated that pretty bi-racial model in the 1990s who is horrified at him now.
