Apparently for socialist Tlaib. Politics is more important than visiting her 91 year old Granny.

What? Me worry?
No.

But if they refuse entry because they don't like the elected leader's opinions they should get cut off from taxpayer funded subsidies.

But...but...she's not my elected leader and I want my tax dollars going to out allies.

As predictable, some here simply resort to stereotyping even "socialism", which in reality is an extremely diverse set of economic systems. They don't want to look things up and actually learn because they appear to "think" that studying is beneath them.

This is why I'd rather not directly engage them, so I typically don't. One of said individuals I asked some specific questions before on what these forms of socialism are in terms of which countries he considered "socialistic", and all I got back was the sound of crickets.

So, why should I waste my time? It's not a matter of disagreeing with them-- it's a matter of their laziness leading to their ignorance. You've all heard "You can't fix stupid!", but I actually disagree with that or I wouldn't have gone into education. But laziness and arrogance are another matter.

Then send a check.
Trump lost the election. Tlaib won her election.
That's why she has a mandate and he's pissing into the wind. She has the people she represents behind her, and Trump doesn't.
That's the point to democracy, in case you didn't realize that political party games are not the point.

Hey, whats a 91 year old relative compared to the attention she gets trashing Israel.

She really gets off on this stuff ! What is an old prune when she can be on the news !
It's not like Israel said no. They had approved her wish to visit her grandmother.

She didn't like it and called it oppression.

And this nutcase was voted in into Congress.

Ah, yet again the "socialist" charge is parroted by those who don't really much seem to understand the word, nor do they even seem to have any interest in actually looking it up. I post a link, but it seems to mostly get ignored as the same foolishness just gets repeated again and again and again by some here.

Even though it's fruitless for me to supply any link again, let me do it anyway with the hope that at least one person may actually want to do the homework: Socialism - Wikipedia
So says what the ex-Socialists themselves have to say on the matter. Again and again and again to the Democrats socialists who are suffering from extreme autism.

‘Damn socialism, why are you chasing me?’ Chinese-Americans see ghost of communism in Democrats’ leftward turn

Keep putting the fingers in the ears of those who were actually more educated and knowledgeable on the term than anyone ever will be. Quite an eye-opener when they tell socialist Democrats in the US over and over. Yet predictably and unsurprisingly, the response still is La la la la.......

The tune of the Democrats socialists who shout from the rooftops whom think they know the term best , and absolutely hates being called out on it by those who had actually lived life in those societies.

That about says it all as to where you're coming from.
Really ? Cyclical weather change is a part of history going way, way back before the industrial revolution.

Has man created new weather changes apart from what nature regularly does ? I don´t think so.

Is human activity a contributing factor in the changing weather patterns ? Likely.

Is human kind knowledgeable enough, committed enough, organized enough to effect the changing weather patterns ?

Absolutely not. It is a pipe dream to think nations and their people are prepared to undertake the unbelievably massive costs, and the huge changes required in virtually every human activity.

They all give lip service, but that´s it.

Better to do what we reasonably can do, and begin preparing for life in the changed environment, science would do a greater service to humanity in that kind of research.

I picked it up from a bartender that we only have about ten years before the sky falls on us all. Apparently this bartender believes that sacrificing all of the Republic will save the day for all the nations, the majority of which will sacrifice nothing.

I don´t think so.

Puts her solidly ahead of Trump, who has never done better than second place in an election in his entire life.
Tom
Interesting. No, he was in first place in the last election, thatś why he is president.

Even all the dead people and illegal aliens who voted for hillary could not win her enough states.

Trump did pretty good for a 'second-place' winner. I would go to so far to say he was in first place unless mathematics had changed for one reason or another of which I wasn't aware of.

Her election was not based upon any policy issues, except hatred for Israel and the Jewish people.

Her election was based upon her religion. I believe she represents one of the stan districts, like dearbornistan.

Kim and Putin and Assad win "elections" regularly.

Apparently, Beijing is about to democratize Hong Kong. Trump will make a ton of money. Putin will send all those democracy protesters to the gulag. Trump will make a ton of money.

As usual, Trump will make a ton of money.

That's an unfair assessment. One can disagree with the practice of a government, in this case a corrupt PV without the people, collectively, being blamed.

After bemoaning that'll be her last time possibly this to visit her aging kin. Israel compassionately and kindly granted her permission, but with the condition that she doesn't politicize while visiting. I thought that was fine , but clearly not for socialist Tilab.

It's just not good enough for this socialist when even being granted with permission cancels her own trip. Apparently her image is far more important. Nice way to say her grandmother wasn't the central reason why she wanted to visit in the first place, but rather to be used as a tool she can continue to be anti-israel.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib declines permission to visit West Bank

Also , she could have (obviously) popped through Jordan legally without any 'fuss' whatsoever from Israel , but her incredible need for media attention of course would far outweigh the sensibility of going through the back door legally as Jordan isn't exactly in the media limelight to spread socialist propaganda and vilify Israel further.

She represents the people who elected her. She is a reflection of them. There may be some in her district who disagree with her, but they are totally silent.

She is projecting what her constituents want and expect.

She said she was willing to accept any restriction. She was bluffing thinking Israel would say no to a humanitarian reason. Israel granted her request thus called her bluff.
