Cigs and Vaping

Addiction is the answer. Like you I used to smoke. When that nicotine craving kicks in it is very easy to justify smoking. Vaping is probably safer than smoking, it does not seem to be nearly as carcinogenic But it will still cause heart disease. And it is still extremely addictive. Taxation and raising the age to smoke or vape may help reduce the number of victims over the years. Once one starts it can be very hard to quit.
I'll have to find it, but I have read one study showing people who vape don't get as irritable if they go without, and it's easier to quit vaping than cigarettes. Which isn't too surprising given the numerous chemicals in cigarettes that aid in the addiction to those while vaping lacks the chemical cocktail and it's much easier to ween yourself off of it given you can control the nicotine content of the juice you vape.

That could be. I am to lazy to search right now, but if I recall correctly Marlboro's had ammonia added to the product. It made for a quicker nicotine buzz.

I would like to see some studies on vaping, but I think that it still may be too new to the market to have any reliable ones.

EDIT: This did not take any time at all:

Like me who recently switched from heavy coffee to a little green tea.

Isn’t it quite the thing that even after listing all of the dangers, potentially harmful side effects of many different marketed products ~ that many partake anyhow?

In many ways, it’s exploiting the weaknesses of people already knowing many can’t or won’t resist.
People will do stupid and self-destructive things. It's human nature. But I just don't think society should be encouraging it by allowing some to profit from it.

Tylenol is poisonous and deadly in large doses. Water is fatal in large doses. Alcohol is the number two deadly drug, and banning it didn't work. Cigarettes are the number one deadly drug, more so than all others combined, and yet we know banning them won't work.
I don't propose banning these things. I propose banning the commodification of them, for fun and profit.

Yeah, I live on Earth whereas you must live on Bizarro World where making completely outlandish statements like in your post here is acceptable.

You honestly think you can make claims and not have to prove it? I'm just supposed to accept them as fact? Seriously? Astonishing!

I don't have to prove it. doctors will prove it.

Any leader with a heart wouldn't have allowed any of it to begin with. Their hearts are for $$$$$.
And that's not what the research says, so you're just spewing nonsense.

I just read an article about 8 teenagers ending up in the hospital from vaping. It said their lungs were being destroyed. They will find out its truth when its too late. The same will come from these energy drinks.

And yet you still don't provide this evidence while evidence to counter your claim has been posted?
