Question about the Holy Spirit being our comforter

I read this three or four times. What do you mean by person if not human?
What is god as a person that he is not a spirit?

I find we think of physical Adam as a person, but Not a spirit person, whereas God is a spirit person.
Adam was fashioned from the material ground of the Earth and became a visible creation.
God, and His spirit angelic persons, are invisible, Not of material or physical as we are.
When God resurrected dead Jesus it was Not a physical resurrection but resurrected dead Jesus back to his pre-human spirit body.
Being invisible is why the resurrected Jesus used different materialized bodies to appear to his followers.
Whether spirit or physical both are persons.
The resurrected ascended-to-heaven Jesus 'spirit person' appeared before the 'spirit person' of God as per Hebrews 9:24.
Also, this makes me think of the word ' being '.
In Scripture God is a ' Being '
We speak of humans as human beings.
So, God is an invisible spirit being, and humans are visible physical/material creation.
What is God as a person that He is not a spirit: to me one in the same because God is a spirit person.

What do you mean by "his spirit" though?
Is he a spirit?
I'd like to take the liberty to say to the ^ above ^ that "yes" God is a Spirit ( invisible )
Jesus stated that his God is a Spirit - John 4:24. - see also 2 Corinthians 3:17-18.; Ephesians 2:22.
God being a Spirit Being does Not mean impersonal like the wind, a bodiless force as wind is.
Jesus knew his God as a person, with a personality, calling his God as Father. ( Life Giver)

In Scripture, the words ' ru'ach ' and ' pneu'ma ' relate to God's spirit, as His powerful energy.
Psalms 104:30 speaks of God as sending forth His spirit.
God is Not sending forth Himself but His power to create. - 2 Peter 1:21; Acts of the Apostles 2:33; 4:31
Unlike Spirit God and Jesus, God's spirit is a neuter "it" as found at Numbers 11:17,25
So, when the apostles became 'filled with holy spirit' they were Not filled with a person but an impersonal exerting force activating upon them. - Acts of the Apostles 1:15; 2:4,17-18

There are no immaterial spirits!
Man was created in the image of God. God is in heaven. He has a location,....................
To me ' material ' means visible, physical.
'Immaterial ' means Not visible, Not physical.
God's heavenly home is the 'heaven of heavens' - 1 Kings 8:27. Not in the physical heavens of outer space.
When some Bible translators translated God's spirit they used Holy Ghost as if God was a apparition of some sort.
Noah Webster saw that was Not correct and correctly replaced the word ghost with holy spirit.
At Isaiah 40:12-13 the spirit of God is inanimate, neuter. Also as a neuter "it" at Numbers 11:17, 25
So, there are No heavenly ghosts, and God's spirit is Not of visible material as we think of the material visible realm.
Being impersonal, then God's spirit is powerful and sends out unseen power kind of like a power plant's grid is used to do things. -Psalms 104:30
Yes, agree man was made in the image of God.
Not in a physical image but of character.
God's main attributes or qualities of Love, justice, wisdom and mercy.
So, the fact that we can reflect God's main attributes to varying degrees shows we are created in God's image.
In God's likeness, but Not necessarily of substance, like Adam we are from the earth or earthly.

The spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge.....(Isa 11)
The spirit of God is wisdom, knowledge and power. God is the Father alone. In other words, you shall have no other gods before ME! ME is singular person.

Yes, I find singular at Genesis 6:3 mentions, "My spirit..." as if saying, "I am speaking" or "Myself "as a singular person.

Invisible does not mean immaterial. It means "can't be seen" . Many stars can't be seen and are therefore invisible. Something can be material and yet invisible. On the other hand, nothing is nothing, and nothing can't be seen, nor can it exist.

Yes, wind and breath are invisible, but we see the effects such as wind blowing the leaves or snow around.
Unforeseen *stars* does Not mean really invisible.
The naked eye might Not see them but they are visible under the right conditions.
God is Not nothing, and God does Not use nothing to create, but He uses His unseen power to create - Isaiah 40:26.
Thus, God's spirit is something, something that God's sends forth. - as per Psalms 104:30

I find at 1 Timothy 2:5 there is only one mediator (go between) God and men : the man Christ Jesus.

13"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. 14He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. 15All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you" Jn. 16
"And I will take some of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them, " Num. 11
that is how it works.

I find in Greek grammar rules that a neuter can be presented as a he.
Even in English we refer to a car or a ship as a 'she' but they remain a neuter 'it'.
Just as God's spirit is a neuter 'it' at Numbers 11:17; Numbers 11:25
Interesting where we find God's spirit at Job 27:3 _____________

word in Job 27 : 3 means rational soul, one that makes man man.

The way I understand Christian theology, sin separated us from God. Apparently, one has to use Christ as a continual mediator to overcome the infinite between God and man. I mean one can argue one doesn't have to talk to Jesus continually, but I'm really not sure how far that will get them.

The thing about the Holy Spirit is, it's another form of the Trinity that apparently guides humans. However, what no one has truly been able to answer is, if the Holy Spirit ceased to exist, but God and Jesus remained, how things would be different.
The Holy Spirit cannot cease to exist, anymore than the Logos or the Father can. If the Holy Spirit ceased to exist, then He would not be God and the Trinity would not be a thing.

What is a spirit?

This is totally confusing
I find we think of physical Adam as a person, but Not a spirit person, whereas God is a spirit person.

What is a spirit person?

If humans have spirits, does that mean we are spirit people?

God, and His spirit angelic persons, are invisible, Not of material or physical as we are.

Outside the bible, how did you cone to this conclusion?
God, angels, demons, unseen forces, spirits, all sound the same to me?
What differentiates these things other than what's written?

When God resurrected dead Jesus it was Not a physical resurrection but resurrected dead Jesus back to his pre-human spirit body.

What? Prehuman spirit body?

What is a spirit body?
We have flesh, our body? We have our spirit, what keeps the body alive.
But prehuman????

Being invisible is why the resurrected Jesus used different materialized bodies to appear to his followers

Was there a body but it was just invisible or is the spirit body made out of something different? Is it a form like casper or a disembodied ghost?

Whether spirit or physical both are persons.

How do they both relate?
What is a spirit that it would act like a person?
What is it's nature that would identify it as a person and not some-thing- else?

In Scripture God is a ' Being '

Being and person are the same?

So, God is an invisible spirit being, and humans are visible physical/material creation.

What is an invisible spirit?
and how is it a being; what makes it a being but invisible at the same time?

What is God as a person that He is not a spirit: to me one in the same because God is a spirit person.

Can you define person used for god?

Remember. Scripture doesn't help. I'm not looking these things up to see if you're telling the truth.

If God is our God.And Jesus is our savior. Why do we need the Holy Spirit to be our comforter? Can't God And Jesus just do that by themselves?
1) Jesus is at the right hand of the Father.
2) The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ (Like your spirit is the spirit of your body). The Holy Spirit is the part of God that is united with your spirit.

I find God's spirit belongs to God - Psalms 104:30
Yes, the resurrected ascended-to-heaven Jesus is at his Father's, his God's right hand of favor - Revelation 3:12,21

If Not looking up any Scriptures, then we can't learn what the Bible really teaches.
I find we don't want to confuse a Spirit person (God and angels ) with being a 'spiritual person'.
We are material/ physical creation, and like Adam had we have life's spirit.
A pep rally is designed to create lively school spirit.
A high-spirited horse is a lively horse.
So, while Adam was alive he had life's spirit, and death Adam ceased to exist.
One's spirit (spirit of life) 'it' returns to God according to Ecclesiastes 12:7
'It' returns to God in the same way a foreclosed house is returned to the owner.
The house does Not move or go anywhere, but any future prospect for the house now lies in the owner's hands.
Thus, any future life for the dead now lies in the Resurrection Hope - Acts of the Apostles 24:15.

We know the Power Plant's grid has unseen power.
Thus, God's power is seen in the result He takes. or makes - Psalms 104:30

You can see a power plant.

What you're saying is:

The PP is invisible that sends invisible power to help the world with gain electricity.

Kinda understand the confusion?
