When you boil it right down, the only thing these archaists care about is sex. They're completely obsessed with it. They want to go back to some idealised past stuck somewhere in the Victorian age when people didn't 'do it', or at least pretended not to.

Their entire world view is shaped by the supposition that doing the wild thing is naughty, naughty, naughty. Not that their actions necessarily reflect their words: I bet you the closets of some of these neopuritans have so many skeletons they coud be rezoned as graveyards.

The rampant rate of divorce brought to America by the left? I saw a television special, or documentary, or something - I can't remember - a while ago that said, even excluding Nevada (Las Vegas), Red States have rates of divorce significantly higher than Blue States.
