Is sexuality a choice?

Sexual impulses, which isn't an addiction, don't leave you yearning for more like heroine....I'm not giving it all up until I die. "It's not a choice...."
Simple not a serious discussion, investigation... here. Just defends to try to make lack of effort to a virtue.

For ****s sake. How much more clearly can I put this.

AIDs is not only a gay person problem. Therefore, being gay is not the cause.

AIDS is exclusive to people who have engaged in swapping bodily fluids irresponsibly. Therefore, it is caused by swapping bodily fluids without due care.

Is that hard to understand?
Do you only talk about those things that are convenient for you at the expense of the whole quote?

hemorrhoids
anal fissures
anorectal trauma

retained foreign bodies.15

I highlighted the areas you decided not to see. Are you saying these are "not harmful"?

I've already accepted that these are harmful. They're also treatable.

Here's what you're doing.

Crossing the road increases the risk of getting hit by a car.

Getting hit by a car is harmful

Therefore, crossing the road is harmful

Can you see why your stance is illogical?

Anal intercourse also puts men at significant risk for anal cancer.
Homosexuality doesn’t equal anal sex. Plenty of homosexuals don’t engage in anal sex at all (plus an entire sub-set can’t without mechanical assistance ;) ) and plenty of heterosexuals do. There is actually very little sexual activity homosexuals can engage in that heterosexuals can’t and don’t.

The biggest risk by far comes from sex with multiple unknown partners and not taking appropriate precautions. A gay man in a steady monogamous relationship will be infinity safer than a straight man sleeping around with lots of strangers. That’s why the demonization of homosexuals and the discouragement (indeed, outright restrictions) on their establishing settled long-term relationships has been so counterproductive.

Long term settled relationships aren't the only answer though. Safe sex and sex positivity is.

not applicable.

One is an accident... one is on purpose.

Using your type of logic... Smoking increases cancer but cancer is treatable and you can even get a lung transplant... but hey... but smoking cigarettes is not the problem because other people get cancer anyway.

You have misrepresented those facts, and I have corrected you on that. Come up with some evidence that isn't reliant on everyone ignoring the second half of it.
Not at all... I simply quoted. Ignoring real science is a flat-earth mentality.

Are you suggesting that people with aids intend to catch it? Of course catching aids is an accident. Gay sex isn't, but neither is crossing a road. Nobody chooses to get hit by a car.

.
No, you quoted from a single source and applied it using a biased and flawed logic.

Yknow, the same as how flat earthers use the fact that you can't see the curve to suggest that there isn't one.
