The "What are you listening to?" thread- Part 4

There are some songs that bring back memories, so bad but most good. This last week I was watching America's Got Talent, which I normally don't watch, and with one song not only did I literally wanted to dance but it also made me quite emotional, and it was the NDLOVU Youth Choir from South Africa.

Why so emotional? Two reasons: one was that I was scheduled to visit there in 1998 but took ill, so I had to cancel. The second reason was my parents loved to travel to foreign destinations, and they had an opportunity to go to Kenya in the 1980's but my dad didn't want to go.

However, a guy I worked with had taken that same trip a couple of years before and told me to try and talk them into going, so I did. My father still didn't want to go but my mother finally talked him into it.

When they returned, my dad simply couldn't stop talking about what they saw-- he was totally blown away, and they were seasoned travelers who took a foreign vacation every year for over 20 years-- but no other trip got even close to measuring up to this one.

So, Mom & Dad, now deceased, this is for you, so crank up the sound and get into it:

My Youtube Music mixed tape has been on point today with the Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Audio Slave, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and some tasty bit of Metallica, Nirvana, Megadeth, and other goodies when I was younger.
