Some poor human nature.

That wouldn’t be a good idea then considering how most people are still treated, especially in school. Where I’m from there are all sorts of things designed in the education system to teach about bullying, yet the same bullying continues to go on. Especially as children get older and into higher grades. Even the quiet students who just mind their own business, that can tell are unique and different from the rest.... still bullied for no reason.

It means the Crucifixion should mean nothing to those who have left the belief, the faith.
Hebrews 6:5
The Sacrifice being only contextual to belief in the religious aspect of Jesus.

Hebrews 6:6

Anything else is 'another religion', and non associated with the Crucifixion.

Well, if we're into picky, he was neither hung nor hanged (one having to do with masculine pride, the other with dangling by the neck). He was crucified.
