Your thoughts on spirituality and magic(k)...

What does spirituality mean to you personally? How would you define/describe it?

And if applicable, what does magic(k) mean to you personally? How would you define/describe it?

To me, plainly, spirituality is any and all relations between the physical and the realms of the spirit (be that living spirits, the gods, or the Dead). Magic (I personally despise the use of 'K') is working with the natural energies of the Earth, our own soul complex, and our wyrd (fate).

In reverse order, real magic is using forces of nature that the vast majority of people have no knowledge of. In the East, I'm thinking of tantric practices. I would use the first part of the biography of Milarepa to illustrate magic.

Spirituality is the exploration of people who have awakened to the sense that there is more to life than ordinary daily activities including ordinary religion. These are people who have come to believe that this "more" can be sought and realized. To do this, people who are spiritual search for their own path to walk toward this "more".

Being humane, simply, and caring for nature.
