means to breath into the mind, heart
Who, or what, has inflamed you? is the Spirit of Love, the Holy Spirit, the Way of Love that which kindled, inflamed the disciples?
pure consciouness = holy spirit = blissful mind = Love? Compassion? loving kindness? maitreya? friend?
Sutra 42
10. The Buddha said, “Those who rejoice in seeing others observe the Way will obtain great blessing.” A Sramana asked the Buddha, “Would this blessing be destroyed?” The Buddha replied, “It is like a lighted torch whose flame can be distributed to ever so many other torches which people may bring along; and therewith they will cook food and dispel darkness, while the original torch itself remains burning ever the same. It is even so with the bliss of the Way.”
When the perverted church is atop her most high and sublime dignity ...,
There will proceed one born from a branch long barren,
Who will deliver the people of the world from a meek and voluntary slavery
And place them under the protection of Mars ...
The flame of a sect shall spread the world over ... Epistle to Henry II
