I and the indeed! Lowest form starts with one neuron me.. And arrives at the highest order not quantified unbounded and thus free. Consciousness is relativistic. This simple adjustment frames consciousness as a verb or an adjective rather than a noun, shifing more towards process-based thinking and away from substance-based thinking. (Notice how I used relativistic things like contrast between process and substance and contextual framing as an aid to facilitate understanding {bringing into consciousness?}

Yes. I can also pick out the patterns of recognizable forms deemed letters. Furthermore, my pattern recognition can pick out patterns within the letters to form words. Furthermore, these this pattern recognition process (root meaning of the word "intelligence,") can pick out abstract concepts being conveyed by these words. Furthermore, my pattern recognition facility can also pick out patterns contained within the conveyed concepts, and make adjustments to the perceived pattern of concepts, and create my own recognizable visual pattern that can be interpreted by other pattern recognition bases and faithfully reproduce the pattern conveyed within their own subjective mind, recognize more patterns, and convey these patterns back via the creation of another visual text communication.
Of course, too much pattern recognition effort put into the exchange can result in apophenia. (Which might be exploited by some.)

I already stated quite a few: awake, asleep, unconscious (still has a consciousness under many circumstances), mentally ill, using drugs, in an isolation chamber, dead, hypnotized, mentally disabled, receiving subliminal messages, involved with your subconscious mind to a great extent, overwhelmed with too many distractions, aware, unaware, daydreaming, I don't remember the rest but there are a few more. Consciousness is what your mind is capable of seeing or realizing. it can be deluded. It is not necessarily what you see in front of you at any given moment. That could be a dream or a lack of reality but what is reality anyway?
