(Christians, Muslims): Why your religion?

Unguru

I am a Sikh nice to meet you
Explain: "lack of Truth in the Bible" to me please.
I find only the Truth in the Bible, and a lack of atheism, hatred, and terror.
I will discuss your opinion anytime point by point, so tell me where is a lack of Truth in the Bible.
lets get going!

I'd like to ask you one question, why don't you believe in the Mahabharata or Ramayana?
If not, you should read them and get back to your Bible talk later.

Cool, then you can perhaps answer my question on surra 4: 157.
Did the witnesses to the crucifixion see Jesus die on the cross?
Look I am not even using the Bible, but only the Quarn, and here it destroys itself.
So if you say you can fit the Bible and Quran in nicely with each other, you definately never read the Quran, and only speak of sonething you thing is possible.

Now, for 1460 years people tried to reconcile the Bible and Quran with each other, and if you can do it, I would like to know how.
But start on 4: 157.

First the answer to your question regarding Sura 4:157

The crucifixion as recounted in the New Testament is correct. The meaning of the Qur'anic version is that the spirit of Christ was not crucified. There is no conflict between the two."

(From a letter written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi to an individual believer, July 14, 1943; in Lights of Guidance, no. 1646)

"Regarding your question relative to Surih 4, 156 of the 'Qur'an' in which Muhammad says that the Jews did not crucify Jesus, the Christ, but one like Him; what is meant by this passage is that although the Jews succeeded in destroying the physical body of Jesus, yet they were impotent to destroy the divine reality in Him."

(From a letter written on behalf of the Guardian to an individual believer, March 19, 1938; in Lights of Guidance, no. 1669)

As to the unity of the Bible and Quran. To God there are no contradictions or discrepancies.

As to the Quran it’s interpretation was awaited so no one was ever fully aware of its hidden meanings until now.

Sura 7:50-51

50 And now have we brought them the Book: with knowledge have we explained it; a guidance and a mercy to them that believe. What have they to wait for now but its interpretation? When its interpretation13 shall come, they who aforetime were oblivious of it shall say, ‘The Prophets of our Lord did indeed bring the truth;

The Book of Certitude by Baha’u’llah Baha’is believe is the book that unseals and reconciles the seemingly irreconcilable passages of the Bible and Quran by reinterpreting them in a manner which we can accept both of them as divinely revealed truth.

Revealed on the eve of the declaration of His Mission, it proffered to mankind the ‘Choice Sealed Wine, whose seal is of musk,’ and broke the ‘seals’ of the ‘Book’ referred to by Daniel.” (Shoghi Effendi)

Surely, among delights shall the righteous dwell! Seated on bridal couches they will gaze around; Thou shalt mark in their faces the brightness of delight; Choice sealed wine shall be given them to quaff, The seal of musk. For this let those pant who pant for bliss. (The Qur’án 83: 22–28)

“And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, ‘Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end’. (Daniel, 12: 8)

God does not divide people, it is man’s interpretations which have caused discrepancies and divisions.

Baha’u’llah has come to unite all religions and reconcile their followers and His Writings express an uncanny ability to enable one to accept both & all Holy Books and clears away the seeming contradictions & discrepancies born mostly of limited understanding and superstition. It not only unites the Bible and Quran but removes all barriers to reconciliation between all the major Faiths.

It is a Master Stroke from the Divine.
