I wish I could just turn the news off. I hate being reminded that the world is run by a mob of idiots.

Hail and salutations for making the right decision in choosing Boris Johnson for your P.M. Democracy and common sense has prevailed and the liars and fear mongers sent to the depths by this show of the true will of the people.

Wot? A bunch of Tory numbskulls voting for the most likely option? We, the people, didn't vote him in.

We didn't choose him.
His party chose him
The country didn't have a choice

Right decision? We will see if he sells the uk down the road for his own gain.

Not democracy, the people were not involved, just a bunch of his buddies saying, yeah, you run the country. So that bit of your op is wrong

Common sense??? The guy is a buffoon.

Liars and fear mongers. Some of us dont lie but have excellent reason for fear. As british PM would you block healthcare and education to british british children? This is on the cards

Are you saying the U.K. is an undemocratic country?
Of course not. Don't be silly.

But one party has chosen themselves a new leader, and the leader of the largest party in Parliament is, by convention, the monarch's first choice to ask if he or she can form a government. So he will try, even though he has no outright majority.

Many of us think he's a crap choice, but our chance will come at the next election to let him know.

Looks like the British shot themselves in the foot just because they don't want Eastern Europeans taking their jobs

What jobs? No self respecting brit will sweep the roads, clean the toilets, pick the fruit or clean up vomit from hospital wards for that sort of money. Yes they shot themselves in the foot, as services begin to collapse.
