Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
I have a friend whos brother is really big into World of Tanks. Not my type of game, but I did find playing artilery to be pleasant.
I went with War Thunder as opposed to World of Tanks. While both are laden with microtransactions and pay-to-win schemes I found War Thunder to be much better both in the graphics Department and game play.

Neither is tactical or strategic enough where it would suit me personally albiet they are certainly fun games

It's probably why I prefer grand strategy and simulation more than arcade type games. I like the kinds where you can think and plan.

Definitely. Command & Conquer, Starcraft, Warcraft, those types will always be my preferred when it comes to making digit war.

Have you tried the Steel Division 2? The new General mode is interesting combining large rts maps with small operation campaigns with click drop deck tokens representing regiments, battalions or divisions. The rts maps are large enough that strategic planning is required for deployments. The front is large enough you need to develop strong points with mixed units tactics. The map I played had my front beyond the midway point while still having 10km to go before the border judging from artillery range finders. The campaign map while simple does add an element of large operations considerations such as unit cards used. For example I had an absurd kill/death ratio of 97%/3% in one battle. The same unit was attacked again but I couldn't counter the air power. The AI took out the few Flak 38s I had with air strikes so I lost the area (same for both battles) due to 1 recon plane and 2 bombers after shredding a tank/motorized division.

The game has a nice balance between strategy and tactics. Besides hardware and game engine limitations the content thus operations and maps must be created "by hand" due to the game being historical. So the 4 current campaigns and 6(?) historical battles could become repetitive. Skirmish and MP are in the game but both are limited to historical battles maps

I think Im gonna get back into Warframe. I NEED to unlock Octavia! (You basically get an in-game DAW, make EDM music, and dance to it in battle to buff your allies)

I giving World of Warships a try to see what its about. And because I dont send people to Davy Jones, I send them to Cthulhu (and Ill probably be eaten by him at least a dozen times before I myself send someone for him to devour).

Wow! A 10 GB patch for Warframe. Guess my quest for Octavia will continue to tomorrow. Ive played Warframe on and off for years now, because its free, not pay to win (though you can still pay to not farm, and farming in this game tends to be easier than vanilla WoW), and missions are shorter for the most part, so its there when I have a few minutes kill or a day. But I think Im gonna have to sink some serious time into it, because I havent quite got up to the story of the patch they released her (and shes far from new anymore).

Im back in Warframe. And in need of a good primary weapon. I have a good warframe, and a good side arm, now its a good primary and tons and tons of credits to max my mod thingies. And Octavia is tons of fun. Song and sword, dance and guns, amp speaker and blood, its all good!

I was playing Fable 2, and just started back up ME:Andromeda.
I know Mass Effect Andromeda had its issues at the start, however it's a pretty decent game in my opinion once they fixed up the animations and stuff a little bit more. I enjoyed it.
