Regardless even if it was true. It's a big nothing. We got almost 10,000 more drones where that one came from. Heck we might have even shot it down for target practice, you never know.

Its a big deal if Trump say they shot down an IRAN drone when it is one of their own US drones. because that means Trump is caught in lies AGAIN, so now it is soon 11.0000 lies since he started the job of become presiden. From the other side of the Atlantic, Ilhan Omar seems a very fine and principled person, although I can see that her views don't correspond to what many American conservatives might think are proper American ideals. I can't see that as any mark against her character though.

rightwings can not understand that trump is making up stories to look like he is better then he is.
Fact checkers find Trump to tell lies many times a day and Trump say them as if they was true, and trumpists actually belive him

Is it just my imagination or is it that the main theme of the OP, including it's link, is just a wee bit hypocritical? To me, compared to Trump, she's a saint even though she has taken some positions that I don't agree with or are overstated, imo.
It is still appalling to me how so many people will defend Trump and his appointees that are so absolutely involved in corruption and at all different levels. It's almost impossible to keep score since each day brings new atrocities done or said by one or more of them. It's like we quickly slipping into becoming a banana republic, and yet so many don't seem to much care.
But I assume these same people didn't like Obama, and yet his administration had 0 indictments and 0 convictions over 8 years, but he was supposedly a bad president??? Hey, at least he and his administration was squeaky-clean honest as compared to "the Mob" that now reigns in Washington.
People sometimes talk about the "dumbing-down of America", but what about the utter depravity in America that we are now seeing right at the top of our leadership?
I never thought I'd ever live to see a day like this here in America where so many excuse this massive corruption that we normally see in a failed state.

So the defense of her is "she's not as bad as Trump"? The vast majority of things Trump has been accused of that some media outlets have pushed over and over for the past almost three years were massive misrepresentations and some outright lies. From the swearing of an oath that was compared to a scene from 1930s Germany to attempting to convince people that "Make America Great Again" actually secretly means "Make America White Again" the day to day ongoing smears have continued. From those opposed to the current sitting president I have seen little to no concern nor care that certain media outlets appear to have been weaponized to attempt to manipulate political public opinion because Trump is not "their guy", what if he is "your guy" next time? This was an opinion piece from one person and we see what it stirred up, I guess the moral of the story is don't stand in a pile of s**t and throw it and not expect someone to throw it back.
