Science IS religion

Nope. You did not show such a thing-- sorry.
Here is a fresh one then I guess..

Ge 7:11 - In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened

Ge 8:2 -The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

Windows opened, windows closed. Water from above comes down...maybe even goes up?!

You can offer competing beliefs, or personal incredulity, but no rebuttal.

THAT DOES NOT SAY WHAT YOU SAY IT SAYS. Wow.

Just .... Wow. There it is--- in black and white-- PROOF YOU ARE LYING.

Even unreliable witnesses, when there are millions of them may have some bits of common truth that can be gleaned. The fables of science have no redeeming feature. Bad religion.

If you clean a dirty house would you not start by trying to get one room or area clean?
He came and proved it.

Science sure doesn't know.
Jesus rising from the dead, miracles, millions of people testing prayer, fulfilled prophesy etc etc.

You know you defeat yourself every time your post something. Obtaining millions of unreliable information from unreliable people is as stated unreliable and a truth they do not make. Picking and choosing what you want to believe does not make it true either.

As for fables of science- A fable is a story which teaches a moral lesson. Fables sometimes have animals as the main characters. Thus you are implying that science teaches moral lessons. That is an interesting idea but that would seem to be a redeeming feature. Maybe the no was a typo.

Bad religion - One that has to tolerance for other opinions and one that has no respect for natural world.

So you are saying god saw the isrealites as dirty and cleaned them up? What room did god go next, can you answer that one for me?

Science doesn't know is a correct statement. People who study and learn science know compared to those with closed minds.

Jesus rising from the dead? Did you see him actually rise from the dead. Did anyone witness him rising from the dead? Any evidence for that of course not.

prophecies fulfilled - its all in the way you spin the tale.

By the way you never answered my question - Does god's creation have more truth to it or human writings? Simple answer which one?

It would appear he cannot accept that he can be wrong. This seems to be his defense mechanism for his ego. After all if he opened his mind to anything that has been said so far his world vision collapses since it is based on stories so he must keep the argument going to avoid accepting reality.

No, but picking your fables over truth can make the fables seem true to you.

The lesson your fables try to teach is that there is no God.

"Fable is a literary genre: a succinct fictional story, in prose or verse, that features animals, legendary creatures, plants, inanimate objects, or forces of nature that are anthropomorphized (given human qualities..." wiki

Your origin stories are fictional, they feature animals as the product of evolution and ancestors of man. They have inanimate objects like imaginary planets smashing up causing the moon, etc. Your belief based tall tales from the crypt also feature imaginary forces of nature! (same state past and future). Great fit.

Bad religion - One that has to tolerance for other opinions and one that has no respect for natural world.
No. They worship the creature above the creator. Just try reading the bible in an evo course if you want to see intolerance!

He is going into all the world with the good news of His eternal life gift for all who ask. Yes, the people He started with were filthy much of the time. Like Christians...a work in progress.
Science doesn't know is a correct statement. People who study and learn science know compared to those with closed minds.
They are the ones with minds closed to anything else. Religious nutballs.

Jesus rising from the dead? Did you see him actually rise from the dead. Did anyone witness him rising from the dead? Any evidence for that of course not.
Hundreds did see Him risen. Many died to verify what they saw.
prophecies fulfilled - its all in the way you spin the tale.
Not at all. It is like DNA identification or fingerprint evidence.
By the way you never answered my question - Does god's creation have more truth to it or human writings? Simple answer which one?
Part of what He made is Scripture which has immeasurably more truth than the fable spinning religious zealots from the evo fantasy factory.

Suddenly.
You realize the Cambrian explosion wasn't "sudden", right? It was a period of millions of years. The only way in which it was sudden is because it represented a comparatively rapid speciation event compared with the rest of the fossil record.

If you can prove nature was the same as you claim, do it. Otherwise blabber about your mom...and live in her basement if you like.
But you do realize that saying "If things were different to how they are, then they would be different to how they are" isn't an argument, right?

Jesus said His words were reliable actually. Believe what you like.

That well may be-- it's a shame that YOU do not actually follow ANY of the ACTUAL words of Jesus.

Hmmmmmmmm...... especially the section where he commanded you to follow the OT laws....!

THAT one you ignore. How Convenient.

No. I do realize that you assign dates based on looking at the present nature and how it now functions and apply that to the past. Dream dates.

But you do realize that saying "If things were different to how they are, then they would be different to how they are" isn't an argument, right?

What would be an argument is to say, science knows it was one way or the other because...bing..bang...boom. (actual reasons)

Maybe start a thread on foolish old wives tales about the bible? Here you should fess up to having your falsely called science religion held up to dry. No wind left in your sails.

No, but picking your fables over truth can make the fables seem true to you.
You talking about fables, and accusing others of accepting fables, but you forget that Genesis 3 has a talking serpent and Numbers 22 has a talking donkey.

And then you have Jonah being swallowed by a big fish, or was it a whale, and kept him alive for 3 days.

Or 1 Kings 17:3-6, where ravens supplying Elijah with meat and bread during a drought. Did the ravens plant and harvest the wheat, grind the grains into flour, make the dough and baked the bread?

So if anyone should be believing in fables, then it would be you.

So now you are saying god wrote the scriptures? We have the actual handwriting of god? Amazing I would like to see it.
Were is it even stated that hundreds saw Jesus rise from the grave? Just provide some names of anyone that saw Jesus actually rise from the grave itself and I am not talking about visions or hallucinations later on but just after he died.

Real events are not fables. Science cannot say they never happened. Nor can science say that the basis for origins claims are not belief based!

The bread God gave in the desert is not bread science today can deny or confirm. The fact that beliefs are part of origin claims can be verified.

All the red letter words in a bible are the words of God. All the blue letter words in some bibles are Him talking also.

The writing on the wall in Daniel day was not from the hand of man, nor was the ten commandments.

The bible abounds with His words directly as well as some He wrote!

Were is it even stated that hundreds saw Jesus rise from the grave?

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.—1 Corinthians 15:3-9
Just provide some names of anyone that saw Jesus actually rise from the grave itself and I am not talking about visions or hallucinations later on but just after he died.
In addition to the many hundreds cited above, there was others such as Mary. Then there are the hundreds of millions of witnesses that He lives in their lives today and through history.

Not even close, Sunshine. Alas... you demonstrate, again, that you have no clue about Science, or anything scientific.

*sigh*

Real events are not fables. .

Correct. So that means? 100% of your bible is a fable... Good! You Iz Larnin' yetz?

Science cannot say they never happened. .

Nope. Science can definitively prove that Noah Legend is 100% myth.

It can also prove that Adam & Eve is 100% myth-- principally because humans never descended from a single breeding pair-- DNA proves this beyond any doubt.

Nor can science say that the basis for origins claims are not belief based!.

False-- Science has no real origin claims-- apart from showing the BIBLE IS FALSE.
The bread God gave in the desert is not bread science today can deny or confirm. The fact that beliefs are part of origin claims can be verified.

And to think there are two of these type arrogant all knowing personalities posting at the same time. They are not here to exchange ideas or to learn from others. They are only hear to preach their beliefs with no care of other peoples beliefs. They have no understanding of how the bible came about and twist the words around to suit their needs no matter how absurd it is. They feel it is gods mission to harass anyone who does not believe exactly the way they do. I have met too many of them in my life time and the are so fanatical it can only be concluded that they are afraid of what the truth about our world is so they can never accept anything that contradicts what they believe in. So the keep on posting false information as they preach their belief. Empty words. Appreciate your posts.
