As I read it, the fed lowers interest rates to spur the economySo, the economy is doing great (or so we've been told), longest recovery ever, Dow nearly 27000, etc, etc, etc. But the Fed is going to lower interest rates. Is there any way these two facts can add up?
As I read it, the fed lowers interest rates to spur the economy
or to prevent it from declining. There are fears of the latter.
(Some sources have been predicting decline for a year now.)
We never recovered from 2008 and austerity has done more harm than good.I've been feeling the decline in my pockets for a lot longer than a year, but I'm in Europe and we're a bit more backwards than you guys, so it will probably hit us first.
So, the economy is doing great (or so we've been told), longest recovery ever, Dow nearly 27000, etc, etc, etc. But the Fed is going to lower interest rates. Is there any way these two facts can add up?
As long as they lower interest rates on student loans, I've got zero problem. The next recession will probably be millennials who are getting violated so hard by federal student loans that we still won't have any spare money for things like buying a house even after having been in the work force for a number of years. Plummeting marriage rates aren't helping either. So, the economy is doing great (or so we've been told), longest recovery ever, Dow nearly 27000, etc, etc, etc. But the Fed is going to lower interest rates. Is there any way these two facts can add up?
Because Trump thinks a short term gain will cement his reelection. Trump really does not care about the future as shown by how he does business. He only thinks about the here and now. I don't want to see interest rates go up personally, who wants to pay more? But I can see why it should be done. So, the economy is doing great (or so we've been told), longest recovery ever, Dow nearly 27000, etc, etc, etc. But the Fed is going to lower interest rates. Is there any way these two facts can add up?
There are concerns (BBC article a few days ago) that the US economy is about to enter into another recession. So, the economy is doing great (or so we've been told), longest recovery ever, Dow nearly 27000, etc, etc, etc. But the Fed is going to lower interest rates. Is there any way these two facts can add up?
Dow is fake and manipulated any direction wanted. So, the economy is doing great (or so we've been told), longest recovery ever, Dow nearly 27000, etc, etc, etc. But the Fed is going to lower interest rates. Is there any way these two facts can add up?
