Where do the Jews believe they are going...

I gather that there might not be a number (72), but that houris will await Muslim men in heaven...pure, virgin, voluptuous and with 'wide, beautiful eyes', etc.?

Yeah, the houris await the faithful in paradise. According to the quran, evidently. Everything else that seems to be associated with it comes from commentators.

As for where Jews think they are going...has it occurred to you to, y'know, ask a Jew?

I don't personally know any Jews. That's why there is a web site as this to ask things.

There are no 72 virgins in the Koran.. Don't you ever check your facts?

There are over 30 allegorical descriptions of heaven.. not unlike "My father's house has many mansions."

It boils down to heaven being in the presence of God.

I've just heard this on TV and radio over the years in regard to terrorists suicide bombers who follow Islam. There were several remarks over the years that these thugs believe that a good number of virgins (70-something, it seems like I heard 72 somewhere before) are waiting for them in their version of "heaven" when they kill themselves and many others. I really don't know what the Islamic "Evil Book" (I can't call it the Good Book) says nor do I care to ever touch one with a ten-foot pole.

I do have a number of followers, but we are in the minority. The true Messiah will cause the Temple to be rebuilt. Isaiah 28:16. "...he that believeth shall not make haste". On Judgment Day 97% of earth's inhabitants will be cut off by fire.
Ah, another religion that hates 97% of humanity. Just what we need.

I learned all of this from Herbert W. Armstrong. He wrote a little book called "The United States and Britain in Prophecy". Ephraim, the youngest son of Joseph had the birthright and blessing and was to become a "multitude of nations". Genesis 48:19. In the Hebrew Bible, they are represented as ten toes, and ten horns. Queen Elizabeth is sitting on the throne of David. Originally, the USA was the melting pot of northwestern Europe and we are called "Israel" in the Bible.
How do you know you're in Josephs tribe? Why not Naphtali's or Asher's or Manasseh's?

I am not Jewish by birth. I converted about 36 years ago. I am Israeli, the tribe of Joseph. They were from the ten tribed northern kingdom called "the house of Israel". After the Assyrian captivity, they migrated to the north and west into the coastlands and isles. This is northwestern Europe, what used to be called "free Europe". The Messiah will be from the tribe of Joseph. Genesis 49:24. "...from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel".
Northern Europeans have nothing to do with Israel. British Israelism is total nonsense, on par with Black Hebrew Israelite crap.

Many Muslims will say there is promise of servants who are eternal flesh, offering food and wine nothing sexual. There is disagreement on that. Perhaps Sheite and Sunni look at it differently.

I personally think in heaven the focus should be on God not his gifts real or otherwise.

Joseph possessed the birthright and blessing in his generation. Then it passed to Ephraim. I am of Scandinavian descent, mostly Norwegian. They are purely Ephraim. Joseph was the dominant tribe of the House of Israel. I am also a little Irish (Dan) and British (Manasseh) British is a Hebrew word that means "covenant people". My last name-Lange is actually German (Pennsylvania Dutch).

I believe it is true because it makes sense and it fits in very nicely with my theology. There are Ethiopian Jews and there are Jews from all parts of the world. I observe Judaism as a religion more than a race. The name "Israel" was bestowed upon the children of Joseph. Genesis 48:16. The only reason we don't know who we are is because we don't keep the Sabbath. The only reason the USA exists is because of the promise God made to Abraham. Isaiah 36:17. "Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards". We are the breadbasket of the world and all the actors in the play are Americans, with the possible exception of David. They have all been reincarnated and they Include Adam (Satan), Jesus (Lucifer), Elijah, Gabrielle, Michael, and Deborah.

I hate the wicked. Judgment Day will affect those who have committed a deadly sin, and the "guilty" who refuse to repent of their sins. The seven deadly sins are 1) Any sin against God's person. 2) Abuse or neglect of a child. 3) Murder. 4) Rape. 5) Kidnapping. 6) Paying or taking a bribe. 7) False witness or swearing falsely by the name of God. Only eight people survived Noah's flood. Your odds are a lot better now.

1. It is slander to call 97% of the world’s people wicked and lump them in with murderers etc
2. Noah’s flood was a myth borrowed from earlier cultures.
Water travels to the lowest point, so if the water covered the tallest mountains then it would cover them now. Where did all the water go in your opinion?

There is no sex in Heaven because there is no procreation. God is a woman and the serpent is something she created. The serpent was a part of Adam's anatomy. Genesis 3:1. The story of Adam and Eve is a parable, and not meant to be taken literally. It will be the parable at the Messiah's trial. Psalm 49:4, Psalm 78:2.

...when they die a physical death?

For most Christians, the possibilities for a hereafter is heaven or hell.

The Muslims think 72 virgins await them somewhere outside this physical world.
I read at the BYU library that Jews believe they'll be out in space with God's light radiating them (it was a book by a Jew).
