Should i convert to satanism?

The kicker though is that the vast majority of Greek and Sumerian deities were adsorbed by the Greeks.

Ishtar became Astarte for example which connects historical references mentioning their adoption into the Greek Pantheon. I forgot the exact reference though.

What do you mean when you say "adsorbed"? Next, what do you mean when you say the Greek deities were adsorbed by the Greeks?

A goddess of fertility makes a bad virgin, and using a penis invalidates virginity even if it's... dismembered. Let's not take our history from Zeitgeist, there's more than enough material to work with.

I am mow kind of conflicted, i want to convert but ALL of my friends and family are christian, not to mention i am a leader in the church. What do you think i should do?

It means that when the Greek went about conquering other nations they took those nations gods with them. Mesopotamia, Arabia, Canaanites all have the same deities. Some never even changed the names. Romans and Greeks have the same gods as well.

That "virgin" word came from a bad translation of "young woman". And it's not because of Zeitgeist that I said that. One morning I approached a picture of Mary and baby Jesus and asked her "Isis?". Next came what I can only describe as an intense wave of love and my sleep went away. I think that was a "yes".

On another day a few years back while I had Jesus on my altar, I had a vision while waking up with Jesus asking me to "Go back to the originals, put the Egyptians".

Heck I know even this statue of Isis was taken as the Virgin Mary by old Christians.

Just ask Mary if she's really an appearance that the Church invented for Isis.

And look at the coptic cross and compare it with an ankh.

Hey Dude,I would like to say some things that are my views, about some of the things you have stated.Sex and lust are very natural.Satanism feels that you should give free reign to your desires.Look for example,priests who abstain can become very involved in many different acts even though it is against belief in their God.Experiencing ,the maximum expression of your desires increases consciousness which falls in line with the Satanic Aspect which can increases power that giving you more control over events in this subjective universe but propel you across the universe at death escaping the natural world whereupon maintaining the self and not being absorbed by the force of God loosing all identity.Face it you are a rebel as all us Satanists are.If you believe there was a war in heaven and Satan was separated at that time ,then you know that the, so-called difference between heaven and Hell is separation from God and I can deal with that.Yes become a Satanist.Enjoy yourself with no regrets.Robertius
