Job 42

1Then Job answered the Lord and said:

2“I know that you can do all things,
and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
3‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
4‘Hear, and I will speak;
I will question you, and you make it known to me.’
5I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear,
but now my eye sees you;

6therefore I despise myself,
and repenta in dust and ashes.”
Does Job say to God I did not see so I was ignorant, now I am able to see you, so I understand now?

The whole event of God's speach.
2"Keep listening to the thunder of his voice
and the rumbling that comes from his mouth." Elihu proclaiming outward power of God, God did not like, says no understanding. Then God tells Job about inner works of God, which is his real power, Job understood it. It is kind of what in 1 Kings 19:
"And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. 12And after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper."

This is in 1 Kings, not Job.

Job talks of seeing God. The Torah says that no man can see God. Somehow we must reconcile the two without contradiction.
It is not about physical seeing of God it is
about spiritual seeing of God.
Here is an example:
"I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. 3And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows—4and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter."

Job 42: 5-6

5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

What he is saying is that now he fully understands the Lord and His ways. He had heard of Gods love for us, but didn't understand before. And now he clearly see the true extent of Gods love for His children and now Job despises and curses himself for being an unclean wretch not worthy to stand before the Lord. This is referenced in Isaiah.

Isaiah 64:6

6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Good observation.
When Job was shown the bigger picture, it made him aware that he knew very little, and his humility allowed him to gain a greater understanding. His knowledge and understanding increased greatly.

We can be confident Job never forgot to reflect on God's creative works, whenever he would think a bit too much of himself.
King David reflected on this, and so he could say, "your [God's] humility makes me great." 2 Samuel 22:36; Psalm 18:35)

Psalm 8:3, 4
3 When I see your heavens, the works of your fingers, The moon and the stars that you have prepared, 4 What is mortal man that you keep him in mind, And a son of man that you take care of him?

It's always necessary to give the source of your quote.

In this case you sourced 1 Corinthians. While I have an appreciation for the book, it is the same sort of appreciation I have for the Quran or Vedas. I do not consider it authoritative. Remember that not everyone in here is a Christian.
