in the OT its known as god's annointed. basically one who has been baptized in the name..

jesus was one. in fact, he was patterned after another. he wasn't the first
Yes, Jesus was Christ. Osiris (ausir) means Christ, for example.

so were others, case in point, cyrus. it was used to refer to god's annointed people. it isn't unique to a person.

thus the reference to the 144,000 in revelation

or to

john 21:15 the word arnion is used always in reference to christ, or christs.

In what way? And in what way are personalities idolatrous?

treating one vs another as better because god is not a respecter of persons. what you do unto the least of these you have done unto me.

god is not a man that he should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent. god alone is good, the only thing good as my elder brother jesus told you.

are the children safe?

I don’t see how the Nicene Creed does that. You’ll have to explain a little deeper.

no i don't have to explain deeper. the creed is shallow and tries to cover itself with absolution but holds other as self responsible

why are you ignoring the question? are the children safe?

It’s a statement of faith. It’s not a thing that embodies any power of its own. We don’t worship it; it’s a theological tool.

and it was wrong then too. it is wrong to deify some and demonize others. love doesn't do that
That’s not the essence of Xy, though. It’s precisely because Jesus is both fully God and fully human that all humanity is reconciled to God. God becoming Incarnate did that. That act of worship doesn’t serve to demonize others, it serves to lift others.

and so is everyone and that is why christianity fails as idolatrous

1 Corinthians 6:19
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

That Spirit is not Jesus. That Spirit did not come from no jesus.
That Spirit is intrinsic to all living things.

But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.

I didn’t say it did. Jesus serves as an exemplar for the rest of us.

are fundamentalist christians trying to create god in their image of christian?

was god christian in the beginning? will god be christian; when their are no christians, as before?

Do you know where the Christian name came from?
The Christian came from Christ Jesus
Christ = Christ-ian
So actually God is a Christian seeing Jesus Christ is God.
And the name Christ is abbreviated for Christian,. Christ = Christian
Christian = Christ
Christ follower - Christian
