I don't care a jot what your screen name is. Naming yourself after a bunch of historically famous homosexuals while railing against homosexuals is ironic, is all I said. People like you think that just because there are Christians, Jews, and others who - by virtue of their religious beliefs - don't approve of illicit homosexual sin, that you have to dredge up some kind of an ad hominem attack (like you did in Post 159) to make your day. Very chic indeed!

If you were hoping for a platform where you could dump on homosexuals without being subject to scrutiny, I'm happy to say this forum isn't it. There's plenty of echo chambers out there, if being held to account isn't to your taste.

Let's consider things logically here, okay? If the major "sin" of Sodom was that all its inhabitants were homosexuals, then why were there young males in that mob? Obviously, those supposedly "homosexual" men and women had to have engaged in "heterosexual" relations and most likely were married, since totally homosexual relations would not have produced children, and the population would have died out pretty quickly if the major "sin" of the entire populace was homosexuality.

On the other hand, it's quite likely that these heterosexual inhabitants of Sodom engaged in same sex relations, which has nothing to do with homosexuality, but would be the type of "unnatural" sexual activity that could be considered a "sin."

Even today in the Middle East, heterosexual males frequently engage in sexual relations with "Bacha boys." Many of the boys do this in order to earn money so that they can eventually marry, and the older men engaging in this activity are not homosexuals. And this practice has a very long history.

You really need to look into history to try to get the real picture rather than simply trying to mold scriptures to fit your prejudices.

Nobody would care if you simply would keep your bigoted religious views about us gay people at home.

But that's not enough for you guys. You need to take it out to the public, vote and legislate based on it and THAT we cannot accept. If you want a theocracy, go to a deserted island and create your own. There you can do with gays people whatever you want.

My late mother and her brother were beaten at school for writing with their left hand. I write with my left hand although I do everything else with my right. In the 50s an old man saw me writing and said my parents should punish me for using my left hand!
