It's a Goold Shapley & Muir 22 HP opposed twin engine.
It runs on gasoline & kerosene (starts on the former to run on the latter).
Made somewhere around 1910.

Is it weird that I can search the web for an engine, & find the one I actually own?

That is odd that you can find it, even more odd than the fact that I can find a picture of the exact same Harley I owned in high school...same color and everything

I think I pushed more than I rode it, it was no good racing the rice burners on flat land, but nothing could touch it on a hill climb, I may start looking for one of these for nothing else than nostalgia

That is impressive....my found pic cold be the actual bike, it looks exactly the same, but I seriously doubt that it is. Now if there was a guy next to it, with the seat off, changing the fouled spark plug, then I would be sure it was my old bike
