The Second Coming

So you ignore the 'do it' part and continue to defend your present state of belief. Sooda, even if everything you believe is 100% true, you still will not realize transcendence. One is talk, the other is doing. It's like the rich man who spends his life making money which is left on earth when he dies, so it is with conceptual beliefs, they are left behind.

Why do you think I cannot realize transcendence? That makes no sense to me.

Some of the great theologians and scholars of the last 300 years have suggested the preterist view for consideration, but traditional Christianity was too caught up with the idea that the Pope was the Antichrist or some other such Futurist notion.

But all that is changing. We are not as gullible now as we were when William Miller, Darby, C. T. Russell, Rutherford, Scofield, Walvoord, and Hal Lindsey came along. A constant barrage of false predictions by the date-setters has made us more wary.

Most Christian theologians in Europe a century ago took a somewhat preterist approach, and none of them considered it heretical.

One of the leading proponents of the preterist view back then was James Stuart Russell (not to be confused with the Watchtower founder, Charles Taze Russell).

Because you do not know what and who you really are in the context of cosmos yet, and sadly I don't think you think you need to know.

Mark 13:24-27
"But int those days, after the suffering, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heaven will be shaken.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. Then he will send out his angels, and gather his elect from the four winds, From the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven."

The last time this happened was the extinction of the dinosaurs. So, the Son of Man plans to set up his kingdom on a desolate earth, devoid of humans.

Is this a parody?

I mean the real reality, not a conceptual one. You don't get it, the real can never ever realized by the human thinking process.

Have you any idea or clue who those stars represents in the Bible and in the book of Revelation?
Also in case you didn't know, there are two tribulations.

Jesus in me
Jesus said he kingdom was not of this earth, didn't he?

I believe that does not mean that it is not on earth even though it is not of it. The Kingdom of God is within you if you have received Jesus as Lord and Savior. Otherwise it is not in you. The Kingdom comes (prayer taught by Jesus) when the believes are gathered. It would be like Prince William visiting the USA. The USA isn't part of his kingdom just because he is here. So also this world is not part of the Kingdom of God simply because kingdom subjects are in it.

The Temple was destroyed in August of 70 AD during the grape harvest.

I believe then that every building in the world should have fallen to the ground in a great earthquake. But alas somehow history missed that one.

Sorry, There was only one tribulation.. Bad theology invented the claims of a second one ...

So, I am talking about the second coming that is near, are saying He came at that time?

I believe the Biblical record states that He was around for 40 years after His resurrection so it is possible He was still around in 70AD before ascending but hat wouldn't have been His second coming.

I'm not the least bit surprised you don't know.

I believe I have been considered a heretic by more than one church but that is because I am an iconoclast and believe in the Bible rather than what people teach including you.

Rev. 16:18 And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings,3 peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as there had never been since man was on the earth, so great was that earthquake. 19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found

Sorry to disappoint you, but theres coming two tribulations
The first one being the AntiChrist
The second one being Jesus Christ himself

You can read all about these 2 tribulations in Revelation 6:1-17.

But the question is, can you tell which tribulation is which
