Sounds like his greatest fears are my dreams.
Today Bob used the word, "gainsay", in a way that didn't make sense.
I asked him what it meant. He said it's when people say things to
make themselves appear smart, ie, to "gain" from saying things.
I pointed out the actual meaning, ie, to contradict.
He said no, he goes by the older "original" definition as used in
the Bible. I pointed out the problem of using a definition that
we couldn't find in any dictionary. The dictionaries are of course,
wrong.
He weighed in on etymology. Words only change meaning when
someone causes the change for some dishonest agenda. Its'
never due to evolution of language. (Biological evolution is also
bogus.) Linguists have it all wrong.

He's pretty sure the Covid pandemic is a either hoax or not that dangerous.
The hospitals & states are fabricating the numbers so as to train us to
become more submissive to government taking more control over us.

He said someone took his forehead temperature, & it was normal.
I tried to explain that was only to test for a fever.
It fell on deaf ears.
