Not All Men Are Like That?

They can be internally racist like Uncle Ruckus
They can be more than an Uncle Tom or his heavily characterized and extremely cranked up and absurdly over exaggerated Uncle Ruckus (no relations). I've seen it, I've heard it admitted without shame, and the world saw on TV when it blows up as cities burn and innocent white people are intentionally and deliberately targetted for violent assaults.

Errr?........ Wot?.........
Surely, you mean that the challenge for all people is to...... whatever....

But where I live many of the leaders are women, in our businesses, on our town and city councils, on our county councils and in Parliament. Our Lords have a high % of women leaders as well.

On the side, most folks I know are neither bullies, slave drivers nor true leaders, they're just ordinary citizens with average lives, partnerships, families 'n' all.........

Because of my own experiences, I'll admit to considerable bias.

And when it's about living beings, almost all generalizations are barely worth making.
You maple syrup guzzling, peaceful and polite Canadians! So caring for others you'll even medically treat your guests. And we, the world, pick on you and tease you because we know youll still call us buddy at the end of the day.:p

Not all men are robbers does not distract from the fact that the majority of robbers are me
Not all men are fraudsters does not distract from the fact that the majority of those imprisoned for fraud are men
Massive sweeping statement above, in which you still try to suggest that many men are robbers and fraudsters ?
What's the population of your country? What % of that population is in prison?
Even if you live in the USA (with its mass of prisons) the % is going to be tiny.

Not all men are bigots..I am pretty sure most of them are, I'll get into that later
No Bob............ it's time for you to look at all of humanity together. You're showing us all just how prejudiced you are about just one gender. Sad.

Not all men are violent does not distract that our culture of violence was created by men, that men are responsible for most of the violence committed against both men and women.

The way you talk, looks like you could possibly want to dispose of all the men in order to make your idea of a perfect world.

That's a level of extremism far beyond anything I've seen before, Bob.

Sad to hear of your own unfortunate experiences.

Sadder to hear that as a result of that you are considerably prejudiced.

Which has messed up your life more? Misfortune or Prejudice?

The verdict is still out on what a hot dog actually is.

Can't make up their minds on that one.
The two 'dogs' in the picture are hounds..
These two hounds are girls..

NOT ALL DOGS ARE DOGS.
NOT ALL HOUNDS ARE MALE.

Though I tried, I was not God's most obedient child, not that I got into lots of lawlessness, but he insists that we forgive and reach out to others in love. It is a well established part of Islamic thought that often our suffering is the teaching of God, and looking back I agree. I hope that in all that, I have become a better, more pleasing person to God.

As to which it was, misfortune or prejudice, I can't say. I failed often and in many ways. These days, living alone, and retired there are few distractions, so I can focus my heart on God wholeheartedly. Jesus has something to say about that ... trying to remember. Matt 5 is something to dwell on. To me it feels like an impossible slope that leaves me on my knees asking for help to please God.

As an old, it is pretty easy to fall into the trap of grumbling and anger. May I repent of that.

Ah.... yes.... I was a total loss as a child, could not achieve any preconceived standards or characteristics set by family, and all confidence and strength of character was drawn out to leave an empty nothingness within. It took a lifetime to fill the cracks and paint them over, but I know where they are, still.
All this made me stronger later, but the most important characteristic it left me with is the will to try and understand other folks more accurately and with more care.
Being a Deist I don't have to please an involved God, but I do have to be joyfully thankful for the happiness sent to me in later life.

I wailed and howled about all the unfairness of everything for far too long..... was truly pathetic. But as I picked myself up I realised that to be alive is an amazing gift and not to be wasted with weakness. I actually know the exact place and time that I stood up and changed myself..... a long time ago now.
But all the bad stuff can make us better, later on......... or so I think. :)

Me too.
I do try to push down any anger that's left now.
The luck that came in later life was just too wonderful for me to dwell on much else for too long.

Good Luck to you....... and much happiness. :)

Racism is bigotry based upon race.
Anyone who engages in it would be racist.
The definition does not exclude this or that race.
Moreover, religion based bigotry is not racism,
contrary to popular public opinion.

True, dat.........

Some folk's ideas about bigotry, sexism, racism etc seem to be inside-out and upside-down........ in need of a space suit and magnetic boots, :p

If I was a mouse I'd take great care if I needed to cross a golfing green......... no..... I'd definitely go round it regardless of any urgency. Them bloody raptors, and cats, and dogs, and ferrets, and.......... but should such a mindset be treated as wickedly unsocial? I'm careful with humanity now, regardless.....
