Have you seen the light? has it dawned in you, or on you? the power of love to uplift?

Revelation 10:1
And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

Have you seen the light?
Without the light, what would we see?

Edit: @Fool, please don't take this literally. My point is:

I think people depend too much on seeing. Listening, IMHO, is much better. :)

listening to that still small voice then seeing? or listening to others and then understanding?

Listening to the internal voice
Listening to others
Understanding
Seeing

each one has its own advantages and disadvantages,

But focusing on sight vs sound:

seeing is believing, but it requires light, and it only faces forward.
listening often happens best in darkness, and is 360, it's immersive.

music is so powerful and in a way it's universal. don't we usually ask people, "what kind of music do you like?" not "do you like music?"

compare that to paintings, sculpture, architecture, landscaping, virtually anything visually artistic. Some people are interested in it, some people aren't.

in this way, I feel like listening has the advantage. seeing is useful, but like I said, I think people are overly dependent on it.

You asked: "listening to that still small voice then seeing?"

maybe "seeing the light" isn't universal. Maybe some people do perfectly fine without it.

But I feel like there is a rhythm of life that is hard to deny. Patterns and Syncopation; not random chaos. It's like the beating of our collective hearts. it's like the universe breathing.
