More then once i have experienced that people express fear or hate toward someone or groups they have not met or experienced them self in life. How can it be that a person show so much hate toward someone who has not harmed this person who show hate?

And some people show hate toward religious groups they have not been harmed by them self?

Its a very simple formula that can be applied to many things, not just motivating hatred.
All it takes is someone to come up with an story and start spreading it. At fist they might not even be very successful but they go on and the more they tell the story the more the idea takes roots and becomes plausible. Some people might not believe it yet, but others start to. Then the person manages to convince a few people that are well respected in the community, so called figures of authority (doctors, teachers, business owners, etc). Once those respected people believe the story and start defending it, it's no longer just a story someone made up, it becomes widely accepted and many will think of it as a fact. After all, if Mr. This and Dr. That say it's true, it must be true.
Most people won't bother checking if the story is actually true and those who do will find themselves being mocked and cast aside. How dare they doubt what the figures of authority say? Some will be fearful and in order to avoid conflict they'll just keep to themselves, even if they know that the story has been a lie from the beginning.
However, there will always be a few that wont be afraid to do their research, get the facts together and tell the truth.

many reasons
1) mass media distortion of facts in alliance to certain groups, religious or political factions
2) commercial rivalry
3)back biting effects
4) envy stemming from diverse reasons
5) racism
6) personal factors like hubris, ego etc ..

What would you say is a good way to end this way of behaving? :)

Do you ever see the parent treat their kid some love some dislike some hate, even some King family in history. Even when you look at people around you some you feel friendly, some you feel very friendly some don't ,some made you show more or less respectful ....because their conscience ,their heart, their mind inner reflect at you

My sense is that in place like India and Pakistan there is a great deal of mistrust on the part of Hindus for Muslims and vice versa...enough at one point to divide the nation into those two separate nations.
Indeed. And while that is at some level understandable, it is also very much a tragedy.

When i do go out i see people minding their own things mostly, but yes i see parents who teach their kids different things.
If a person is friendly or hostile toward me i try to treat them compassion and respect.

For me, as I am watching the original Star Trek series for the first time since when I was a teenager, I can see how deeply attitudes towards "others" are ingrained in the values of the protagonists of that show. Just to see the international cast on the bridge, especially in the third season says a great deal to a young mind about the equality of people. For that reason I see Star Trek as having a deep influence on many people as far as their sense of morality is concerned. But I am sure that science fiction and superhero comics also probably played a strong role as well.
There are a lot of ideas that are field tested in science fiction. I think Star Trek did a lot to open up minds to new ideas and influence us on a number of levels.

One of the few things I disagreed with was their willingness to let ever entity that boarded that ship know where all the controls were and which buttons did what. You are a potentially violent and domineering species, so have a look around. This is engineering. You can take over the whole ship from here.

One of the reason i open the OP is because of the more and more seen hustle toward the muslim people and countries where Islam is rising. There can be said things of those who do wrong deeds but those things happen in many areas of society, but of some reason Muslims are attacked and looked down on just because they have a different religion and world view.
I disagree in many things that happens in those countries when it come to terror and killings, but that is a tiny part of muslims who get radical and extreme. And there is no need to hate every person who seem him/her self as a muslim. Nor is it needed to hate or discriminate other religious people, or those who has no religion they follow.

Basically ignorance. Islam is a beautiful peaceful religion with over 1.5 billion peaceful people who have a wonderfully rich culture and language.

Thank you for your good answer :)
I do not say all muslims are good or that they do not do wrong. And ofcourse it is ok to make critique of those who do wrong. But what i do not agree in is that we can take every muslim under same umbrella and say everyone is bad. Because that is not a right view.

Personally i do not fear any muslim or any other religious individ or religion. Ofcourse we should not go around killing those who are not agree with our own views.
A lot of cultural issues has been mixed in to many religions and maybe this is where things go wrong? I do not know.

But it is the constant negative view of islam that i wish we can end. Personally i have both met and been friends with many muslims both in Norway, but also in other parts of the world.

I do not have all the answers to what we can do. But maybe we can start with seeing each others as human beings and not Muslim, Christian, Hindu or Buddhist?

Let's not forget attrocities committed by secular states (ala Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, et al.)

I have no reason to harm even those who should harm me in any way or form, And i have no reason to hate them.
If you/others look at what i say or do as a lie, that is ok to me,, you are free to think say what you wish toward me.
it's not about you

it's about drawing a line...…

some time ago someone posted the beheading of a woman
Islam in play

someone got hurt...….

could you hate the people performing such belief?

No. I hold no hate toward anyone
so if the law of Islam comes to your neighborhood....
you will have no problem shifting your behavior to accommodate your new surroundings

would that include killing?.....as directed by such faith

last I heard.....some types of Islam consider all others to be
infidel

and you are not worthy the breath you breathe

so I've heard

giving up dogmatic belief is all fine and good
I think so

but this world was built on snatch and grab
and the means to keep your gain by any means at hand

does your direction include surrender of the material?

If some muslims do not see me as worthy, that is their view, but they can not change what is within me.
I can own materalistic objects, but i have no attachments to them, so if someone was to take something that was seen as mine, it is still they who do wrong deed.
This world was build on being good to each others, but the ego of some has made it to a place of suffering.
The things that is of value to me would probably not be seen as value to those who have a huge ego. Because someone with a huge ego has no peace of mind or a silent mind.

would that line drawn.....include the mind and heart of God?
A Gods mind is totally silent, and we human beings should not try to behave like a God, A god is consiousness in the pursest form there is. and as long we humans have a physical body there is no way we can be as God :) But what we can do is to reach for the moment of enlightenment, where we do understand that human life is not what we should seek, nor is the pleasure that humans so desperat seek. But seek a free and silent mind with a consiousness so silent that no physical realm exist where consiousness is in the purest form

My Master taught me "Tell me your company (thoughts, words, deeds you entertain) then I tell you who you are"
Having their pure mind polluted by fear, anger, hate by watching television, newspapers and talking/listening etc
It's naturally that people start expressing what is in their minds (polluted mind lacks discrimination)
