The problem is that there is a limit to the resisting that a President can do. Can anyone find any case where executive privilege applied to subpoenas from Congress? That could be obstruction of justice even if he is "innocent".

Now now even if Trump was a humble quiet man it would not make a difference.

Here's why.

He's trying to issue an emergency fund to help out with the crisis at the border. A $4.5 billion fund. $3.3 billion of that is for food/water/shelter/medical care for immigrants that need help after crossing the border. The rest is for shoring up border defenses, hiring more patrol agents etc. The Dems who normally support help for immigrants, are refusing to support the fund just because Trump issued it.

When people go back on their own principles just to despite someone. That is a sure sign of an irrational hate.

This emergency fund is totally separate from the wall.

It can't be used to build the wall.

If I had nothing to hide and someone still demanded more proof after I offered 2 million documents, and countless hours of my staff/family in inteviews.

I would resist as much as I could just to troll the nubs in Congress. In the end they come out looking like the biggest fools.

That's what executive privilege is, a declaration that some subpoena concerns what Congress has no authority to demand. When Obama used it to protect Eric Holder, there was a subpoena that Obama declared void for that it was regarding a protected executive matter.
