The Community Pot

Wouldn't the idea of reviving the idea of the community pot be more constructive in solving community issues than the government just taxing people and just sitting on the tax money? It think it would develop closer communities and help them resolve their problems together and bring communities closer together because it would be all voluntary and we would understand the needs of those within the communities.

No. I think it is a silly idea. Do you really think you could get a transport network, an education system, a legal system, policing, the emergency services and defence of the country out of a community pot? Don't be daft.

And the government quite obviously does not just sit on the tax money.

More things should be decided locally by state government, but town leadership and police are too easily corrupted. The less tax money they direct the better.

We definitely need something to bring us all together, because the churches aren't.
