If it happens and Dems are still in the house wont worry. Democrats will keep him from getting to much work down, besides who knows he
might screw up worse then he has and we can impeach him. I think Democrats have a good chance though. Its just my opinion, regardless of who wins Ill live through it.

No. Because endless investigations for political gain are bad for the country.
That doesn't negate what I said, plus investigations are neither intrinsically good or bad. If we don't investigate a possible crime, then how in the world can we even have a "rule of law".

Notice I used the word “endless.” I didn’t say “all.”

When Donald is speaking, here's my detector. (until trends prove otherwise)

If he gets into trouble again we could go through the impeachment process, again perhaps this time he will really break the law and we can have him removed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

President's rarely loose with a good economy. If the economy remains strong, Trump should win.

I hope the economy is bad but your right. On the other hand we have never had someone who is impeached run either. SO I don't think we can call it on the basis of the economy this time.

In the end if he wins, he will eventually be gone and Democrats will become popular again . It always circles around so this too shall end.............

Your disdain for Trump is so great that you actually hope for a bad economy? That speaks volumes.

It’s November 2020. You’re sitting on the couch, watching the election results come in on your network of choice. Maybe it’s as you predicted. Maybe you’re shocked by the outcome. Maybe you’re sad/angry. Maybe you’re ecstatic. Why do you feel the way you do? Because Trump won. He was re-elected.

You wake up the morning after the election and think intelligently about the results.

Now answer this question: How or why did Trump win?

Dems failed to put a good candidate forward, again.

I know its wrong to think like that.

However as I said up above I am not I buying it neccesarly. We've never had a President with a good economy run who was impeached either, so who knows?

Socialism sounds really good, until you have to pay for it. Nothing is free.

Now, if overnight we could reinvent the world and make it a cashless society which functions purely on excessive generosity maybe it would work. But, it's a bit of putting of putting the cart before the horse, as usual. However, such a move to such a utopia would require ones country to be entirely self-sufficient for awhile -- the USA is not, nor is any other country -- this chains the economics to cash-based trade. Cash-based economies aren't evil, they're just a necessity at the moment. So, I understand full well what the socialist have as aims but also digress that their method of achieving them is ill-conceived at best and a complete blunder at worst.
That is the "secret" to Trump's success. He has been running the economy on a buy now pay later plan. You may not pay for it now, but sooner or later we will have to pay or crash.

Trump has the economy growing at a rate the Obama folks said was unattainable.

Are you going to respond to the OP?
Did they? Or did they say unsustainable? There is a difference. You would need to quote these people to be taken seriously.

And if Trump got reelected it would tell us that the populace is even less intelligent than previously thought. We would have to live with it. I am hoping that I do not live in an idiocracy.

Good or bad, presidents only serve two terms..
So not that long to wait.
But better sooner than later in the case of Trump.

What happens to him next will be fascinating to witness.

I'm not really so much concerned about what will happen to Trump, but I'm wondering what kind of effect all this will have in the aftermath during the post-Trump era.

What happens to Trump will, without doubt, affect the selection and election of presidents in the future.

If there are no ramifications it could lead to more of the same or even worse.

Richard Engel made that point yesterday in that how can our allies trust us now or even right after Trump is outta here?

The damage done by this president to this country is truly sad, but what is even sadder yet is that we have a large minority here in this country that are still madly in love with him and defending this utterly depraved materialist and hedonist.

Oh, I thought you would be familiar with Larry Summers’ comments. Something about tooth fairies. Ring a bell?
