I had the unfortunate experience of going to a Golden Corral today?

In my defense, it wasn’t my choice.

Golden Corral is not bad. I like their steaks that's all I get when I go there. Worse place than that is Taco Hell.

I've got a problem with buffets in general. My wife insisted we go to a local buffet the other night. The woman (I wont say lady) in front of me in the line would grab the utensil, dip out the food, put it back, suck each of her fingers then grab the utensil in the next tray. I put my plate back and just had a glass of tea. True story.

Their commercials always look tempting, but I am a picky eater and a pretty good cook, at least according to people that eat my food. So far I have not been roped in.

The problem with GC for me isn't the food, but rather hygiene and sanitation concerns regarding buffets in general.

I can think of a worse place: Hell. You can't go worse than that, can you?

True, but GC sticks out in my mind because of that "Chocolate Fountain" commercial from a few years back. Just the thought makes me gag. Anything that relies on trusting your fellow man is an assured failure.
