Whatever God permits is simply fine enough with me. I in no way shape or form believe that God has set aside a destiny for man or that man is remotely important in his desires. He may be the originator of all things but to cast a special insignificant place as somehow important is beyond me when galaxies are so vast and immense it seems logical his satisfaction lays elsewhere. If God almighty is the Originator of Systems and Structures it seems silly to assert our own importance as if it is something so grandeur to watch bags of blood and bones kill each other and dispense with our own self slaughter.
The greatest sin is in the Bible and the god within that mythos makes it by saying man is made in the image of the divine. If this is the case this is the work of a trifling being unfit to claim such divine power as to not even know the grasp of it's own alleged creation. I take no part in the worship of such a being and lay my prayers elsewhere.
If God has an afterlife for us in another possible realm that is fine to me but I find no reason for the transmutation of consciousness and matter to another plane when the physical world is all we know and experience. Indeed I think there is more to it but the notion of spiritual realms is all to hokey for me to accept. The spiritual realms of all religions are far to anthropomorphized and centralize our self asserted and undeserved special value.
What I find as the greatest sin is sinning against God's spirit - Matthew 12:32.
By Scripture saying we are made in God's image is Not physical of course.
Rather, it is about God's main attributes, besides His power, such as: love, justice, wisdom and mercy.
So, to varying degrees we are capable of having and showing love, justice, mercy and wisdom.
I also find Not ' afterlife ' ( more alive after death then before death ) but I find: Resurrection.
Being brought back to life (Heaven for some) but most brought back to happy-and-healthy physical life on Earth.
The God of the Bible being the ' Originator of Systems and Structures ' first created the invisible angelic realm, then expanded His system and structure to include the visible material and physical realm of existence.
Thus, ' everlasting life ' on Earth was the original system and structure for human kind.
The coming return of ' everlasting life ' on Earth is promised at Revelation 22:2 when mankind will see the return of the Genesis ' tree of life ' for the ' healing ' of earth's nations, and death will be No more on Earth - 1 Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 25:8
