Bernie for president

It is of course best to go straight into saying
and thinking the worst of those with other viewpoints;
for lo, without politics, where is the poor bigot
to turn?

There is no question that no republican is
anything but a low life bad person it whom
no stupudity, depravity or pefidy is not rightly
attributed.

Any deranged person who is not on the right and
saying the same about libs, likewise illustrated with
examples, will agree.

After all, no dirty trick ever was played by a
democrat; they are too wonderful. Even the
"Trump dossier" was actually a Republican
thing.

Well, why should I care if you guys kerp it up
and tear yourselves to pieces.
OK. It seems that you might be thinking in black OR white. I don't do that.

Your poetry seems to be in black and white.

Like the text here, black on white?

one of those binary thinkers

Your op had that whiff of four legs good, two legs bad.

If you see that the two parties generally mix about as
much stupid and crroked , one as the other,
fine.

Good for you. I dont either.
I don’t either. Which leads me to wonder why you often post so overtly defensively. o_O

Obviously there are corrupt individuals on both sides of the aisle. However; the Republicans tend to fall in and support their leaders regardless of corruption or merit. Conversely, the Democrats tend to meekly acquiesce, and sacrifice their idea(l)s and their “leaders” in protracted debate, till the public losses interest (which is a very short time indeed :().

The most succinct and simple summation of the two sides that I can think of, off the top of my head would be:
Republicans - weakness of character and long-term thinking.
Democrats - weakness of spirit and conviction.

BTW - In order to “take the high ground”, then one must cite facts and statistically viable evidence from non-conspiratorial sources, rather than spewing invectives in the form of pithy prose.
If you want cognizant discourse, then bring facts to the table as a starting point. We can all work together from there. :)

PS - the lesson I took away from Orwell’s “Animal Farm” was that “power corrupts”, regardless of where you start from.

I am getting ads requesting a contribution for Bernie Sanders for president and I have contributed a little, but I tend to be not trusting. It could be a ploy of the Republican Party to take more money away for themselves. What do you think?

Also, do you think that he has a chance?

Warren seems to be a little too Socialist to win.

Is Bernie too?

Trump is a extreme right wing liar and won. And now some are saying that it's impossible for someone on the left to win. Give me a break.

What's needed is for a candidate to connect emotionally with voters and have positive things to say to counter Trump's unbridled divisiveness and negativity.

It's much too early for me to judge which Democrat is best suited be the candidate.

Yes. Bernie is a Democratic Socialist and the U.S is a democratic republic, I think his philosophy is what the people truly need. No more more bankers, no more establishment (which unfortunately Obama was a part of).

Bernie by far is the most socialist of all of them and openly so. It is the main reason I do not trust him as with any socialist. I will firmly stick to my conservative opinions and support a more conservative candidate who is willing to break free of the awful Republican shackles. Even Trump is tied to the Republicans no different than Reagan.

I don't understand why the Republican challenger to Trump in the R primary has not had more media coverage. He's a good, intelligent, competent, moderate to liberal Republican, which would give those opposed to Trump an alternative within the party at least for those who are not driven by an Evangelical agenda.

Of course! But the crookedness of the Republican Party is at an advantage, I think.

According to a study done by the nonpartisan Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center and the Urban Institute Health Policy Center, Sen. Bernie Sanders tax and spending proposals would add $18 trillion dollars to the federal deficit over the next decade; that'd raise interest rates, slowing economic growth which would damage our economy.

Democratic presidential candidate Sanders proposes increasing taxes by more than $15 trillion over the next decade, with most of that paid by upper-income earners.

However, $15 trillion of additional tax revenue would fail to even come close to covering the cost of Bernie Sander's proposed Medicare for all universal health care insurance system, along with the costs to federal taxpayers for funding undergraduate college education, family and medical leave, enhanced social security, among other new programs. Bernie Sander's health care plan alone would cost more than $30 trillion over the next decade.

When voters realize the enormous costs of Bernie Sander's proposed socialist programs, out of fear that crazy Bernie's socialist agenda could turn our nation into an impoverished nation like Venezuela, they will overwhelmingly reject Bernie Sander's overly
socialistic ideology as well as they will not vote for Bernie Sanders to become our next President.

So you missed the two legs / four legs. Who knows what else,
I only read first and last lines.
