I think it's all a conspiracy. You didn't need luck. You getting hired by an architecture firm would be like me getting hired by a donner kebab house. All you need do is show up and flash a Star of David, or in my case a hijab. :D

Just kidding, of course. ;) Congratulations! You'll love Chicago, it has the (second?) largest Bosnian community in the US. That's a good sign for any city - hahaha.
