Does multiculturalism always lead to falsehoods, lies and deceit and is therefore always harmful?

It is what needs to happen for the emancipation of society so that truth prevails.
Truth? What truth?
Emancipation occurs with freedom. Having more Government interference is the exact opposite of freedom. Let people believe what they want. Society will keep them in check.

Yes!. SHANTANU is right..truths is the only thing that will lead one to be FREE..that’s is IF only you are listening to yourself(inner).

You are your own truth..and the fact with that is YOU!
You know it’s thing with truths..it is not a ‘THE’!
it is ‘A’!...it’s meaning with ‘A’ comes from many in different ways..
but ‘THE’!..means it is ‘ONLY’....THE TRUTH OF BEING TRUE.
there are billions and trillions of em(truths)...but having truths is and are for its REASON..and you are living in that reason of truth..but if you accept your reason in your truth..what would than be your meaning of your reason in its truth of living your life? Are you happy with it? If so!..
than who am I suppose to tell you what’s good for you. It is not my place to make you see what’s TRUE..that is your choice from your truth to question.
Because ONLY you your inside emotions(heart) can change who you are. My point with having TRUTHS.
Was meant for one to {FEEL} (IF) its the right one for them.
We have 2 ways in expressing ourselves..through our minds(communications)...
And through our emotions..(Feelings)
We have the full control to communicating..
But our emotions is different..its drawn to certain things that hears for itself...and expresses to our mind that is been felt..that line there
Is what will lead you to TRUE. But if you avoid it..you will run into agitation..that will take you somewhere bad. But that is your choice..

All the best!..

Do multicultural societies 'work' to the benefit of all when there is a fundamental question on how can one trust any religious person in what he or she says as being true?
We should let people believe what they want and just leave people alone. As long as they don't harm others.

The problem is that many religious people think their views should be the only views in their society.

I would not trust anyone who did not share my religion/philosophy or worldview.
I would not trust anyone who believes in things provably untrue. But sadly, revealed religions and revealed spiritual paths are not trustworthy sources of knowledge and truth. The only things provably true are from physical science using the scientific method and within the proper domain of science. Everything else should be judged on whether it harms anyone else (and whether it is beneficial to you).

And how is it a scientific method belong to science when one doesn’t know who science is? Or how it works?

Whether or not the religious people think that their views should be the only views in their society, it is incumbent upon the rest of the population to subject those views to scientific scrutiny as far as science can take us and if found to be fallible or illogical to prevent those religious people from conducting themselves to enforce those views upon society because they harm society in insidious ways if not more direct ways.

Yes they do. Which is why only banishing ppl back to their own country works. As long as they live in our country, either we tell them their views are wrong, or they tell us our views are wrong. And more likely than not, once one of us gets enough ppl to take over, ppl end up bullied and/or killed.

See my above post about how I think nations should have strictly defined religions. Only those like US and Canada with an official policy of religious freedom ought to have mixed religions and cuktures, and it should be understood that if you don't follow the laws, if you try to take over, you're out.

Any attempts at expansionism, violent or otherwise, should be treated as nonviolent military aggression and driven back with riot gear (stun guns, tear gas, and tranqs).
Also, countries that have been taken by a religion by violence or trickery in the last 300 years, rather than legit conversion, ought to be given back to their original owners.

what does muticulturalism mean? Are you speaking of universalism? do Christians who attend Zen meditation groups count?

Multiculturalism relates to States in which diverse religious and philosophical groups exist side by side each living according to its own beliefs with practices that their Holy Books compel them to adopt. It is not universalism, which would be a fine development where Christians attend Zen meditaion groups to learn and adopt diferent practices to their own.

If the baker says that he came to his conclusion by simply reading the Bible, the judge would ask him where in the Bible does it say that you should not bake a cake for a gay wedding or that homosexuality is wrong and that gay marriages are wrong in Jesus eyes. If he can point that out than the Bible should be banned as anti-societal literature. The same applies to all Holy Books.

1 Timothy 5:22 and 1 Corinthians 6:9–10.

Yes. My only reservation is with atheists who assume materialism/physicalism and, therefore, that spiritual views are false. They, naturally, will wish to suppress all religious and spiritual views, demanding that everyone be atheist.

Those are anti-theists

What is certainly true for me is that God protects those who strive for truth and justice and enables the process in no uncertain ways. I have concrete proof of this in the way that I sorted out the UK State authorities who harassed me over 20 years of State-organised persecution using its allies, subjects and law enforcement agencies. I survived it all through timely action prompted by God who I consulted directly through the digital clock checking for messages where a '7' in the time visited (1.15, 2.41, 3.04, 4.21, 5.02, 6.10, 7.00, 8.08, 9.25, 10.33, 11.32, 12.40, 13.30,etc) indicated to hurry up and send an email to one of the state morons or blog something. I was desperate for help, such was the evil nature of the silent persecution that was inflicted upon me. I am glad it is all over now and I can get on with my life once again. Atheists are therefore totally wrong to be materialistic and reject religious and spiritual views.

Don’t try that hippy new age renditioning of dharma on me. I grew up in the community. I know all the spiritual sound bites by heart.

Freedom is a concept, an idea. But implementing government regulations for beliefs, without good secular reason (ie providing secular marriage services equally to the public) is not freedom. Which is what you’re proposing.
So I ask again, this time try answering me directly.
Who decides truth? Where are the limits? Why should a person, who doesn’t bother or impede anyone, be punished for their beliefs by government sanctions?
I’m all for keeping religious privilege in check. Sometimes consequences are inevitable. But you still have yet to answer me why a person should face court for refusing service. Firing or in house disciplinary measures I can agree with. Government stepping in seems pointless.

Pfft, I grew up in the Dharmic community. Know what the Government did about it? Nothing, because they don’t care. Or are too inept and drunk to try anything. Either way.
Your prejudice against atheists and indeed conflating materialism with atheism are noted. Atheists don’t reject religious and spiritual views. They usually reject superstitious mumbo jumbo. You’re thinking of anti theists. Even still, there are atheists who believe in the supernatural. Ghosts and what have you.
And who you trying to fool. The religious institutions are richer than the Royal Family. The only people I have seen actually reject the material, in every sense of the word, are Jains. And even they sometimes indulge.

And which proof do you speak of?

Meh, I’ve heard better more vague speeches on “Truth TM” in my years attending temple. B-, nice effort, but keep trying.

I would consider Houston Tx in this category. Yea I know Texas is the conservative Christian capital but Houston is different. Theres a lot more different religions there, i wish I was living there, lots of Indian religious folks Asian middle eastern european etc, all kinds of folks there living peacefully.
