"God Told Me To Have That Plane" Private Jet-Loving Megachurch Pastors Exposed

.

Of course their love of luxury is nothing new, but it does make one wonder about the gullibility of their followers.

Anyone care to venture a guess about these poor people who keep supporting such con-men?

Could they really represent the bottom half of the intelligence spectrum as some have suggested?

This is one of many reasons why "churchianty" is fading from the scene as church attendance continues to decline.

The same poor people who let themselves get duped into voting for a party that favors the rich at their expense?

Christians seem to care little for Christ these days.

I think the only person these televangelists should get a jet plane from is Santa Clause. The church members who donate money for something like this needs their heads examined. They must either be crazy or under some kind of spell. Give the good pastor a pair of sandals and let him walk.

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...

Given that such churches tend to cater to lower socio-economic people, and given the erosion of what little financial stability the lower socio-economic classes are undergoing, perhaps the days of the Megachurch are numbered? This late stage capitalism temporary worker economy might just have an up side after all? Who knew?

It may have something to do with intelligence... or lack of it, but I am not going there.
I think though it primarily has to do with this:

2 Timothy 4:3-5; 2 Corinthians 4:3, 4

I agree, and I like the use of your quotation marks.

Her waters are drying up as prophesied. All that's left now is for the invading armies to walk in and totally devastate her. Revelation 17, 18

Mostly poor black disenfranchised communities that are looking for help in the wrong place. These areas are typically where con-men operate. Selling their snake oil to desperate people. But make no mistake these con-men are not Christians nor do they represent Christianity.

Christians seem to care little for Christ these days.

You seem to be wrong an aweful lot lately. See above.

If one believes in God...an all powerful God....who could
send one to Hell...& this God tells you to get a private plane,
it would be a no brainer to get that plane.

So you admit that those who would vote for platforms and policies that conflict with Christ's example and teachings aren't real christians? How refreshingly honest.

I submit those con-men in the OP are not Christians at all. Just con-men pretending to be.

So you're saying Christian's should be theocracist? That's an odd stance for an atheist. It's almost like you want your biases to become true. There's a word for that.....oh yeah conformation bias. Congrats on showing it!

What a strange thing to conclude from my statement. Those who want a theocracy (dominionists, evangelicals, etc.) are also the ones failing to actually abide and follow the example and teachings of Christ.

I've never even heard of Dominionist I had to look that up so you certainly can't ascribe them to representing the majority of Christianity. Evangelist is the same, just a bit more well known, but still a small number of the total sum of Christianity. That being said.

Christians seem to care little for Christ these days.

I am sure you would like to redact or change this false statement then?

Nah, a large portion of Christians do vote in support for policies and platforms that conflict with Christ's teachings and examples. In fact, I guarantee that many would call him a "hippy socialist SJW cuck" if he returned incognito yet still said and did the things that he had in the bible.

The Bible is so vaguely written that "fulfilled" prophesies will occur no matter what happens.
