We need to beat Trump, but policy is also important. I feel a lot of people voted Trump to beat Obama in a certain way... (If you figure they were fed up from it all, so they voted Trump)
Agreed... that's why I think that the current effort of harping on "Obstruction" instead of working on policies is a work on digging the grave in 2020.Most of Obama's voters voted Trump. A significant number of Trump voters were Bernie supporters that switched to Trump wheN Bernie dropped out, and supported Hillary.
The swing/independent vote determines the president , not the hard line left/right.
For the Dems to have a chance they need to never think about Trump ever again. They need to focus on policy and policy alone.

I actually think the media finally recognizes this, and the serious harm they did to the country by focusing on Trump 24-7 during the last election cycle. I predict they are NOT going to do that this time around. Some will, but I think there will be significant focus on OTHER things, this time, like policy.I think Trump will want the election to be all about Trump. When the focus is on him, this is where he is on his best game. Policy is not.
This focus on Trump is just going to make it that much harder to beat him.
Popcorn ready! I'm happily munching away.Watch the video below from the 7:15 mark. Do you agree? (republican/conservative voters...grab some popcorn)
