So what's the solution? When I taught school I confronted it directly a few times in young men. Don't know if it actually did any good. I think for starters it should be part of every school's curriculum, all along. More research is needed on how to teach young folks the difference between harassment and flirting. In that very confusing time of adolescence, it's hard to figure it all out. They all need help, and by trained people. Unfortunately many adults are still afraid to broach the topic.
I've heard of Moby Grape, although never really got into their music.
Everybody deals with stuff in different ways. If this is not for you then don't partake.

I see what you're saying, although perhaps it's a sad commentary that much of our culture still has a kind of juvenile, teenage view about sex. Just like many other aspects of human nature, some people regard it as funny or fodder for humor.
I'm not making light of a situation of sexual assault. I'm making light of the fact that some people have to be a-holes to feel better about themselves. I just didn't feel like specifically pointing out for you because I thought you were wiser then that, but I will now.
And it's sad, and unfortunately until it happens to them (hope not), it seems no one will actually care. Instead, let's use it for political fodder. SMH
