The demons know that their time is short on this earth so that is why they are doing their utmost right now to turn people away from God.

Can they see into the future......NO...because after the flood of Noah's day they lost many abilities when they were put under a condition of restraint called Tartarus.

When Jesus encountered a demon possessed man in his day.....

Matthew 8:28-29...
"When he came to the other side into the region of the Gad·a·renesʹ, two demon-possessed men coming out from among the tombs met him. They were unusually fierce, so nobody had the courage to pass by on that road. 29 And look! they screamed, saying: “What have we to do with you, Son of God? Did you come here to torment us before the appointed time?

So apparently they have some idea of when that "appointed time" is, but they have no knowledge of the future in the same way that God does. Since the devil could quote scripture, the demons know what the Bible says about their fate....but like us, they don't know when these things will take place.

Revelation 12:7-12...
"And war broke out in heaven: Miʹcha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. 10 I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! 11 And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. 12 On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.”

When Jesus gained his authority as King of God's Kingdom, his first act was to evict satan and his demons from heaven down to the earth where they would concentrate their efforts in misleading mankind. Christ's "brothers" conquered satan by their strong faith, even in the face of death.

Heaven was glad to be rid of those rebels, but those of us on earth are now enduring their malicious attempts to sidetrack us with one trial after another. Who do you know who is not enduring serious issues with health concerns, marriage breakups, family troubles, drug and alcohol abuse, financial troubles, political conflicts, homelessness and the crime and violence that seem to be taking over the world?

I believe that these things identify the last days......

Seems apparent from scripture, that only Jehovah has that ability. (Isaiah 46:8-11)
Jehovah alone is capable of certain things. He can however allow others to do things, by means of his holy spirit. Evidently, it is holy spirit that allows Jehovah to have unique capabilities. So no one else can have these capabilities, unless Jehovah gives them, by holy spirit.
That evidently, is why Jesus could say, (John 5:26) . . .For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself.
Jesus possesses power to give life, by the spirit of God.
