Jesus has little or no compassion for the haves of this world.

Matthew 19:24 King James Version (KJV)

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Yes, it would be difficult. But note 1 Timothy 6:17.
There were Christians who were rich...the important aspect is how they viewed, or felt, about their riches. Same today.

Here comes the "no true scotsman" argument.........

So do we define "rich" as anyone who has more than an ancient sheep herder living in a mud hut?

Have you any idea or clue what that eye of a needle is?

So none of you get to heaven.
I could have told you that.

About time you figured out you'd been sold a bill
of goods, And, if you don'r mind my aspersin'
your English usage, your verb agreement needs
some figuring too. :D

What is a "po folk"?

Googled it and its a restaurant?

"Po folk" is Appalachian American for "poor people".

Admittedly I am not under the line of poverty, and I'm not rich either, I'm blue collar middle class. But I did spend the first 20 years of my life in poverty. I worked hard to remedy that, and have succeeded.

I am sorry to have failed you. I've travelled internationally a bit and seen unimaginable poverty and suffering. By that scripture, every single American, Englishman and European will fail to see Heaven.

Then I am reminded that I am not God and can not judge another. All we can do is our best and accept the mercy that God will give us.

It's been a very hard few days, and I am wondering why I don't have the sense to jump from my balcony. I am completely worn out and need rest, but first I need to cry a bucket or two. Then sleep until I wake up.

The best that we can do is to know in our hearts that we are totally given over to God, and want to do his will. I don't know how someone who is burdened with troubles can feel that? Just pray for them I suppose...

I agree and tv evangelists who scam people are not Christian. That's about all of them.
