Song of Solomon 8:6
Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

Hey, it's not locked. Seems you might have to open it though. I guess it doesn't help we're a timid sort and it's just a little scary.

The key of David message is actually Christ’s gospel—the good news He brought when He came to Earth.

revelation 3:7

philadelphia

all the churches, with the exception of philadelphia, had something wrong with them. the only reason why the church of laodicean's needed admonishment was due to love isn't neutral to positive/negative actions. it is neutral to forms, or impersonal, but doesn't ignore actions

The Laodicean church had burned as a result of an earthquake.

the relevance is to the name, again.

laodicea = justice of the people. justice tempered by love is the ultimate form of righteousness, or right. to say you love two people and do nothing in a case of action of neglect/guilt is not loving. this is why we are called to be hot/cold.

love doesn't directly and knowingly perpetuate harm and love doesn't indirectly allow harm to perpetuate.

love is blind to forms but not to the witness of action. the testimony is weighed upon the scales and the sword falls upon the guilty party(ies). a loving mother doesn't watch her children slaughter one another.

Laodicea was a wealthy city during the Roman period. Not only was Laodicea located on major trade routes that connected it to important cities like Ephesus, Smyrna and Sardis, but also it was a center of textile production and banking.Perhaps not surprisingly, the church of Laodicea is noted as being wealthy in the Bible (see Revelation 3:17). The Book of Revelation was penned during the Roman …

The city was a place of great finance and banking. In 60 A.D the city was hit by a major earthquake. The city refused help of the Roman empire and rebuilt the city itself.

The city aqueducts were fed by a warm water mineral spring.. and here you are inventing all sorts of cryptic crap about a real city and a real church in Revelation.

familiarity/complacency tends to breed contempt. yes, i'll wash your hog

revelation is considered a gnostic text by some. a hint is made to the bright and morning star = venus

when you peal back the layers the only thing left is love. only love and love alone covers a multitude of sins. it doesn't take an exact form but it does take an exact action when unconditional.
