This is interesting and impacts the validity of what I posted above. I think that the authors of the gospels probably had different views and knowledge from each other and as such would have different perspectives from each other.

To me it says we should not be looking for Jesus to come back number one.
Number 2 The kIngdom of heaven is within you.

We are all I am the I am, we are all saviors! The power is within us!!!!!!!!! So when Jesus said I am the I am, it was a reference to the Kingdom!!!!!!!!!IMOHO!

It doesn't say 'I Am that I Am' (Exodus 3:14), it says 'Shall be what Shall be' (אהיה אשׁר אהיה).

I like that for Christians the time is always set at 6:33 whether a.m. or p.m. both now and into the coming new age, the coming new era of a thousand years. Seek God's kingdom ( thy kingdom come )
As Zephaniah 2:3 says to seek God, seek righteousness and seek meekness............
Also, we seek God's kingdom in that we tell others about the coming of God's kingdom of Daniel 2:44.

.....And continuing to where John 14:28 says... the Father is greater than Jesus.
So, just as Jesus prayed at John 17: 11; John 17:21-23 that his followers be one as he and his Father are one.
They would be 'one in unity', Not all being God. One in union with God, but Not be God.

Daniel is writing about Antiochus IV Epiphanes and the Maccabean Revolt 165 BC.. Do your homework and don't assume he's writing about 70 AD.

Zehpaniah is writing about Cyrus of Persia.

Just as I find as Jesus said at John 14:19 the world would see him no more.....
Thus, the heavenly kingdom or government of God would rule or govern from the heavens.
Those governing with Christ as kings and priests for a thousand years are resurrected to heaven - Revelation 20:6; 5:9-10; 2:10.
They have that first or earlier resurrection over those who will have a future earthly resurrection - Acts of the Apostles 24:15.
People like King David will have a governing part of being a representative of God's heavenly kingdom on Earth.
- Please notice Isaiah 32:1-2; Ezekiel 34:24; Psalms 45:16.

There is No chosen generation in Scripture. There is No predestination in Scripture.
The one who endures to the end is saved - Matthew 24:13 - Saved / delivered / rescued.
The humble ' sheep ' at the coming time of Matthew 25:31-33,37,40 are of multiple generations.

Those called to heavenly life started with the Apostles.
ALL who died before Jesus can have a future happy-and-healthy physical resurrection.
That is why Acts of the Apostles 24:15 uses the ' future tense ' that there ' is going to be ' a resurrection.....

'Biblical hell' is the temporary stone-cold grave for the sleeping dead.
That is why Jesus likened death to sleep at John 11:11-14
This is in harmony with the OT Psalms 115:17; Psalms 146:4; Isaiah 38:18; Ecclesiastes 9:5.
Thus, on Resurrection Day (meaning Jesus coming millennium-long day of governing over Earth ) is when your father can be brought back to live life eternally on a beautiful paradisical Earth as Eden was a sample.
You can be there to welcome him back !
