I have an old woman that comes to me in dreams and visions. I thought I'd share a dream here.

She was smiling so warmly and kindly at me and told me that every interaction with another person is an act of manipulation by way of one's influence on the other person. Then she laughed and embraced me in her arms.

Thoughts?

It works both ways, except for her.
It's only the level of influence that changes.

Non-realism in regard to religion is summed up in the article below, though I am leaning these days toward an archetypal viewpoint based on experience and study.

What do you mean by "except for her?" She didn't say it doesn't work both ways -- she said that every act with another person influences them, so by that logic the other person is in turn influencing me. But I may have misinterpreted your meaning.

She has influence over you, you have no influence over her, unless she specifically grants it. While it is your dream, she is the one with control over the set design and the script.

Everyone else influences each other. To understand what I mean, go listen to a BBC broadcast (stream) from the 40's or 50's. Only a certain social class was allowed to announce. Almost no one sounds like that anymore.

If someone says they are a Realist (opposed to NonRealist), they are pointing to an idol.
