What you believe forms your reality,so if you change your belief for what ever reason you once again form your reality living in accordance to what this belief is saying to you.

The closest I have to belief is my view on rebirth. If it's not true it won't matter for two reasons.

One is when your dead it's not going to be any concern anyways.

Two is the universe clearly works, so even if I'm wrong, the universe will continue naturally as always.

No, I don't think about it. If I continually or even occasionally question it, how strong is my faith?

Cognitive dissonance? There's that possibility. But what I believe my belief system allows for change without destroying its fabric. If it turns out we find that the blue dude with four arms I worship is actually a benevolent extraterrestrial, and he did do all the things that are written about him, he's still worthy of worship for being awesome and far greater, inconceivably greater than I am.

if the mind is unconditional, i personally wouldn't have a problem changing my mind, like i change my clothes, like my faith.

I have neither of these concerns to begin with.

I don't invest much faith into my beliefs. I tend to expect them to be wrong since they aren't based on something that can be tested. Lot of different idea about how reality works which I entertain from time to time. Maybe one of them is right, maybe none of them.
I try to stick with what I know and not worry excessively about what I don't.

Maybe the truth will be revealed, maybe not and I die as ignorant as when I was born. I'm not placing any bets on either.

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
What i believe, and what i know have no adverse effects on each other.

If i die, and cease to exist, or if i die, and live unto eternal life makes no difference.

What will be, will be, regardless of conviction in a belief.

If knowledge does not serve life it is useless, likewise belief.

Life is love, or it is suffering. Love suffers to. Worse without it.

Absolutely. I have had a taste for paneer makhani all day I believe I still have some in the freezer, but I haven't looked yet and I'll be disappointed if it's not there.

Well, I know I'm hungry right now, and if I'm wrong about my belief that there's paneer makhani in the freezer, it will have an adverse effect on my mood this evening.

Is this what you were looking for, @Fool?

Does it concern you that what you believe may not be true?

Very much.
I put great importance on trying to believe as many true things as possible and the least false things possible.

This is why I greatly value justification of beliefs and demonstrable evidence.
This is also why I am an atheist.

Does it concern you that what you believe may be adverse to what you know?

I don't understand this question.

I believe love is good and people should love others as themselves. I also believe (Biblical) love never fails. Can it be possible that those are not true?
